NIA’s Favorite Gold Mining Projects
On July 11th, NIA said, “Augusta Gold (TSX: G) is one of only a select handful of stocks that we wake up every morning feeling extremely excited about because we understand the value of their assets and how their management is the hardest working in the industry.” Five days later, Augusta Gold (TSX: G) was acquired at large premium.
These are the other gold mining projects we feel most excited about:
North Peak Resources (TSXV: NPR)’s Prospect Mountain Mine Complex in Nevada with notable intercepts from 2024 drilling of 22.9m of 12 g/t gold, 27.4m of 7.4 g/t gold, and 126.5m of 1.06 g/t gold. NPR will announce 2025 drilling as soon as the permits are received any day now. McEwen Mining (MUX) recently acquired the property directly adjacent to the south of NPR!
Heliostar Metals (TSXV: HSTR)’s Ana Paula in Mexico with notable intercepts of 242m of 9.06 g/t gold, 129.2m of 6 g/t gold, 87.8m of 16 g/t gold, and 90.5m of 7.5 g/t gold. HSTR is drilling at Ana Paula right now and will release drilling results between now and year-end.
Contango ORE (CTGO)’s Johnson Tract in Alaska with notable intercepts of 120.5m of 18.8 g/t Au, 3.9% Zn, 0.6% Cu, 0.9% Pb, and 6 g/t Ag; 56.6m of 19.3 g/t Au, 2.4% Zn, 0.5% Cu, 0.4% Pb, and 3.9 g/t Ag; 74.1m of 17.9 g/t Au, 7.3% Zn, 0.5% Cu, 1.3% Pb, and 7 g/t Ag; and 71.4m of 20.9 g/t Au, 9.8% Zn, 0.9% Cu, 1.6% Pb, and 9 g/t Ag.
Highlander Silver (TSX: HSLV)’s San Luis in Peru with a historical resource of 348,000 oz grading 22.4 g/t Au and 9.0 million oz grading 578.1 g/t Ag. HSLV is drilling at San Luis right now and will release initial drilling results in the upcoming weeks.
We also like Borealis Mining (TSXV: BOGO) because their Borealis Mine in Nevada is fully permitted for production with infrastructure in place and they are processing their stockpile right now with gold pours to be announced soon ahead of the launch of full-scale mining.
