FinTwit Influencer Bought Puts in Gold Miners

Similar to how every know-it-all FinTwit financial influencer on Twitter has encouraged people to buy iShares 20 Plus Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) for the past year, these same exact people have been talking negatively about gold and gold mining stocks 24/7.

A FinTwit financial influencer on Twitter, "SantiagoAuFund", who describes himself as a "long term Gold mega bull", tweeted on October 13th:

This is the mindset of millions of uneducated people outside of NIA’s educated membership base!

This is why nobody has invested yet into gold or gold stocks. Everybody invested into TLT instead due to horrific takes like this that literally make no sense. This person is supposed to be a highly respected expert on Twitter/X, and he clearly knows nothing about anything. This is who people have been listening to.
