Yikes, We Don’t Own Celtic (LSE: CCP) Yet
We think Richard Warke strategy of building companies like Augusta Gold (TSX: G) up to billion-dollar market caps, selling them, and investing proceeds into sports franchises is brilliant… but we not billionaires and can’t invest into exclusive Fenway Sports Group. Publicly traded sports franchises like Manchester United (MANU) are run by the most incompetent losers. Celtic (LSE: CCP) is the only publicly traded sports franchise managed by smart people, and we can picture it growing into a billion-dollar market cap over the long-term. After we up at least 1,000% on Augusta Gold (TSX: G) and Highlander Silver (TSX: HSLV) we going to sell and buy Celtic shares. We may be copying his strategy, but Celtic is our discovery. It is frustrating watching Celtic gain like this when we don’t own any shares yet. Hopefully Celtic dips prior to Augusta reaching double digits.
