Copper<\/strong><\/span> has just hit another new all-time high<\/strong><\/span> of $6.8913 per pound<\/strong><\/span> and NIA has a short-term price outlook<\/strong><\/span> of $10 per pound<\/strong><\/span> based on the long-term average<\/strong><\/span> copper<\/span>\/gold<\/span> ratio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

We already know from Super Copper (CSE: CUPR)’s CEO<\/strong> from their initial<\/span> drill hole<\/strong> at Cordillera Cobre<\/strong>: “what we’re seeing…it’s quite exciting.”<\/strong> The core from the first hole<\/strong> was rushed to the ALS lab<\/strong><\/span> by itself on August 20th and they said turnaround time<\/strong><\/span> would be 4-6 weeks<\/strong>, so we are figuring either at the very end of September or early October we will have assay results<\/strong><\/span> for the first<\/span> of seven holes<\/strong> being drilled<\/strong><\/span> at Cordillera Cobre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Bottom line is we will have a steady stream<\/strong><\/span> of drill assay results<\/strong> for the remainder of 2026 from Cordillera Cobre<\/strong>. CUPR<\/strong> has a second flagship<\/span> copper project<\/span>, Castilla<\/strong>, and CUPR<\/strong> will be announcing their initial drill targets<\/strong><\/span> within weeks, with its maiden<\/span> Castilla drill program<\/strong> to begin shortly.<\/p>\n\n

CUPR<\/strong> will also begin to announce details<\/strong><\/span> on its material science division<\/strong>, which they haven’t<\/strong><\/span> really discussed<\/strong><\/span> publicly<\/strong><\/span> yet. CUPR<\/strong> also mentioned the possibility for “strategic partners”<\/strong> to be announced before year-end:<\/p>\n\n

GSP Resource (TSXV: GSPR)<\/strong> is currently trading at an insanely low<\/span> market cap<\/strong>. Even if all eight drill holes<\/strong> with assays pending<\/strong><\/span> are total dusters with no<\/span> new<\/span> copper<\/span>\/gold<\/span> discoveries<\/span><\/strong> at all, they already have a 43-101 copper resource<\/span><\/strong> located directly adjacent<\/strong><\/span> to Teck’s Highland Valley Copper Mine<\/strong>. If GSPR<\/strong> achieves any kind of decent copper<\/span>\/gold<\/span> intercepts<\/strong>, we doubt anything is priced in at all:<\/p>\n\n
