\nWestward Gold (CSE: WG)<\/strong> announced this evening that due to strong investor demand<\/strong><\/span>, it has upsized<\/strong><\/span> a non-brokered private placement financing to $12 million<\/strong> at a price of $0.25 per unit<\/strong>, and all shares and warrants issued in the financing will be subject to a hold period<\/strong><\/span> of four months and one day. This will allow WG<\/strong> to aggressively expand<\/strong><\/span> its ongoing drilling<\/strong> at Toiyabe Hills<\/strong> in Nevada, including at its SSD Zone<\/strong>, located directly adjacent<\/strong><\/span> to Fourmile<\/strong>, the #1 largest high-grade <\/strong><\/span>gold<\/strong><\/span> discovery<\/strong><\/span> of the century.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nTwo of WG’s largest<\/span> strategic investors<\/span><\/strong>, Crescat Capital<\/strong> and Concept Capital Management<\/strong>, intend to make substantial additional investments<\/strong><\/span> in the company. Crescat intends to invest<\/span> $1.8 million<\/strong> and Concept Capital intends to invest<\/span> $1 million<\/strong>, for a combined<\/strong><\/span> $2.8 million investment<\/strong><\/span>. Crescat<\/strong> is already WG’s largest<\/span> shareholder<\/strong>, and its planned $1.8 million investment<\/strong> would represent its third investment<\/span><\/strong> into Westward Gold<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nIn addition to the $2.8 million<\/strong> being invested<\/span><\/strong> by Crescat and Concept Capital<\/strong>, certain WG insiders<\/strong> also intend to invest<\/strong><\/span> their own money into the financing.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nEach $0.25 unit<\/strong> will consist of one WG common share plus one-half of one warrant<\/strong>, with each full warrant exercisable at $0.40 per share<\/strong> for 24 months<\/strong> following closing.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nWG<\/strong> recently drilled 12.0 metres<\/strong> grading<\/strong><\/span> 8.06 g\/t gold<\/strong><\/span> within 27.0 metres grading<\/span> 3.72 g\/t gold<\/span><\/strong> in its first<\/span> 2026 core hole<\/strong> T2601 at the SSD Zone<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nWG<\/strong> followed this up by drilling 34.9 metres<\/strong> grading<\/strong><\/span> 2.91 g\/t gold<\/strong><\/span>, including 4.1 metres grading<\/span> 16.15 g\/t gold<\/span><\/strong> in its second<\/span> 2026 core hole<\/strong> T2602 at the SSD Zone<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nWG’s<\/strong> first<\/span> RC drill hole<\/strong> at the SSD Zone<\/strong> (T2603) was recently completed to a total depth of 396.2 metres<\/strong>, with assays pending<\/strong><\/span>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nFour deep RC holes<\/strong> are now planned to test down-dip extensions<\/strong><\/span> of gold mineralization<\/strong><\/span> in the hanging wall of Fault-N.\n<\/p>\n\n
