It has come to NIA's attention that a newly listed SPAC deal Greenland Energy (GLND) gained by 140%<\/span><\/strong> yesterday and is up another 10%<\/strong><\/span> today. It went public only six months ago at $10 per share<\/strong> and had already declined by 88%<\/strong><\/span> to a closing price on Friday of $1.20 per share<\/strong>. GLND<\/strong> had $37.42 million in cash<\/strong><\/span> as of June 30th vs. a market cap at Friday's close of $52.48 million<\/strong> for a low enterprise value at $1.20 per share of only $15.05 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

After GLND's gain of 152.5%<\/span><\/strong> this week to $3.03 per share<\/strong> its market cap is now $132.50 million<\/strong> for an enterprise value of $95.08 million<\/strong>. GLND hasn't<\/span><\/strong> yet discovered<\/strong><\/span> any oil<\/strong> yet trades at a higher<\/strong><\/span> valuation than Energy Transition Minerals (ASX: ETM)<\/strong> which owns<\/strong><\/span> the western world's #1 largest<\/span> Rare Earth Element deposit<\/strong> in Greenland and Europe's #1 largest<\/span> tin mine <\/strong>in Spain.<\/p>\n\n

It has come to NIA's attention that Greenland Mines (GRML) gained by 230%<\/span><\/strong> on Monday and is up another 68%<\/strong><\/span> today. This was a SPAC deal that went public in June 2024 as ANEW Medical<\/strong>. After losing 90% of its value<\/strong><\/span> within three months of its listing, it changed its name<\/strong><\/span> in September 2024 to Klotho Neurosciences<\/strong> to "better align its brand identity with its patented Klotho gene technology therapies."<\/p>\n\n

Back on June 9, 2025, Klotho gained by 787.80%<\/span><\/strong> in a single day after issuing a press release entitled 'Klotho Neurosciences Announces Pre-Clinical Success in Anti-Aging Therapy Using AAV-Delivered s-KL'<\/strong> claiming that "increasing Klotho gene expression could simultaneously reduce age-associated degeneration across multiple organs, thereby extending both life and health span."<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Despite their apparent "huge success<\/span>"<\/strong> in the gene therapy<\/strong> business, Klotho<\/strong> recently changed its name to Greenland Mines (GRML)<\/strong> and did a 1 for 50 reverse split<\/strong><\/span>. It has shifted its focus<\/strong><\/span> from developing<\/strong><\/span> a treatment for ALS<\/strong>, Alzheimer’s<\/strong>, and Parkinson’s disease<\/strong>, to Rare Earth Elements<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

NIA strongly suggests to never<\/strong><\/span> invest<\/strong><\/span> in any company that goes public<\/strong><\/span> in a SPAC<\/strong> transaction.<\/p>\n\n
