\nHomeland Nickel (TSXV: SHL)’s new<\/span> Patriot Nickel spin-off<\/span><\/strong> is being led by Jeffrey Strobel<\/strong>, a seasoned mining executive and former U.S. Navy officer who flew F-14 Tomcats<\/strong>. Strobel has more than 20 years of mining experience<\/strong>, previously served as CEO<\/strong> of Atlantic Carbon Group<\/strong>, where he doubled<\/span> coal production<\/strong> and processing<\/strong><\/span> and brought the company to profitability<\/strong><\/span>, and was VP of Business Development and Strategy<\/strong> at Arch Resources<\/strong>, where he managed more than $1 billion<\/strong><\/span> in transactions. He is also a graduate of Columbia Business School<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nMinaurum Silver (TSXV: MGG)<\/strong> has just announced that it successfully reopened<\/strong><\/span> the first 600 m of underground workings<\/strong> at its historic Promontorio Mine<\/strong>, which historically produced<\/strong><\/span> an estimated 70 million oz of silver<\/strong><\/span> and already contains 28.6 million oz AgEq<\/strong><\/span> of Minaurum’s current 55.2-million-oz AgEq<\/span> Alamos resource<\/strong>. Initial underground channel sampling is confirming that extremely high-grade mineralization<\/strong><\/span> remains, highlighted by 0.30 m grading 4,142 g\/t AgEq<\/span><\/strong>, including an extraordinary 3,860 g\/t silver<\/strong><\/span>, along with multiple<\/span> additional<\/span> samples grading 480-733 g\/t AgEq<\/span><\/strong>. Minaurum<\/strong> now has direct underground access<\/strong><\/span> that allows it to map<\/strong><\/span>, sample<\/strong><\/span> and eventually target extensions<\/strong><\/span> of a major<\/span> historic silver system<\/span><\/strong> that remains open at depth<\/strong><\/span> and along strike<\/strong><\/span>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nQI Materials (CSE: QIMC)<\/strong> today reported<\/strong><\/span> results from 526 new soil-gas samples<\/strong> at its New Salem–Apple River<\/strong> area. The survey identified<\/span> three coherent helium anomaly zones<\/span><\/strong> associated with mapped regional faults. The strongest result was 5.864 ppmv helium<\/strong> in Zone C<\/strong>, where 17 of 25 stations<\/strong> on one survey line were anomalous, including an unbroken 800-metre stretch<\/strong> of anomalous samples. Zone B<\/strong> contained a 1.5-km anomalous segment<\/strong> and peaked at 5.690 ppmv<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nQIMC<\/strong> has not only discovered<\/span> helium at surface<\/span><\/strong>… the helium anomalies<\/strong><\/span> appear to be structurally controlled<\/strong><\/span> by the same type of fault system<\/strong><\/span> that QIMC<\/strong> is exploring as part of its broader<\/span> natural-gas\/hydrogen model<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nQIMC now has:<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n

\n1)<\/strong> Natural hydrogen<\/strong><\/span> at depth, including its recently reported record 30.0% H2<\/sub><\/strong><\/span> at 413 m<\/strong> at Bennett Hill<\/strong>, along with observations of pressurized free gas reaching surface<\/strong><\/span> during drilling.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n2)<\/strong> Helium anomalies<\/strong><\/span> at surface associated with mapped faults.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n3)<\/strong> An upcoming 2D seismic program<\/strong> designed to image those faults and, critically, look for structural closures<\/strong> where migrating gas could potentially accumulate.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nFinding gas migrating along faults is one thing; identifying a subsurface structure capable of trapping and accumulating gas is much more significant<\/span> from an exploration standpoint.<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n

\nQIMC<\/strong> is responding to today’s results by adding<\/strong><\/span> approximately 8.5 line-km of seismic<\/strong>, increasing<\/strong><\/span> its Nova Scotia program<\/strong> from 42 km<\/strong> to roughly 50 km<\/strong>. The new lines are specifically designed<\/span> so that each helium anomaly<\/span> will be crossed<\/span> by seismic.<\/strong> If QIMC<\/strong> can show that a strong surface helium anomaly<\/strong><\/span> sits directly above a seismic-defined structural closure<\/strong>, it would have a target supported by two independent datasets: geochemistry + geophysics<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n
