{"id":10467,"date":"2026-09-25T17:03:46","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T21:03:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/?p=10467"},"modified":"2026-09-25T17:35:25","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T21:35:25","slug":"awcm-gains-another-7-percent-market-cap-still-only-6-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/articles\/awcm-gains-another-7-percent-market-cap-still-only-6-million\/","title":{"rendered":"AWCM Gains Another 6.98% to $0.23, Market Cap Still Only US$6.17 Million"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"width:100%; max-width:650px; margin:0 auto; padding:0 10px; box-sizing:border-box; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6; color:#333333; -webkit-text-size-adjust:100%; -ms-text-size-adjust:100%; text-size-adjust:100%; mso-line-height-rule:exactly; display:block;\">\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 16px; padding:0; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6;\"><strong>Ameriwest Critical Metals (CSE: AWCM) <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">gained another 6.98%<\/span><\/strong> today to <strong>$0.23 per share<\/strong>, following yesterday&#39;s <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>gain of 2.38%<\/strong><\/span>, the previous day&#39;s <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>gain of 5%<\/strong><\/span>, and last week&#39;s <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>gain of 23.33%<\/strong><\/span>. <strong>AWCM&#39;s market cap<\/strong> here is still only <strong>US$6.17 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 16px; padding:0; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6; text-align:center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/awcm23.jpg\" alt=\"Ameriwest Critical Metals (CSE: AWCM)\" width=\"600\" style=\"display:block; width:100%; max-width:600px; height:auto; margin:0 auto; border:0;\" \/><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 16px; padding:0; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6;\">Even though <strong>Kinross Gold (KGC)<\/strong> is having <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>huge problems<\/strong><\/span> at <strong>Round Mountain<\/strong>, which NIA has been <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>predicting for many months<\/strong><\/span>, saying they are <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>running out<\/strong><\/span> of <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>gold<\/strong><\/span>&#8230; with only <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">low-grade<\/span> resources<\/strong> left at Round Mountain&#8230; and we believe <strong>KGC<\/strong> will have <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">no<\/span> choice<\/strong> but to <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">acquire<\/span> Viva Gold (TSXV: VAU)<\/strong> at a <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>massive<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>premium<\/strong><\/span>&#8230; we <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">100% trust<\/span> Kinross Gold&#39;s judgment<\/strong> from the 1990s when they determined <strong>AWCM&#39;s Bornite Project<\/strong> had such <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>high<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#d35400;\"><strong> copper grades<\/strong><\/span> it was worth <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>petitioning<\/strong><\/span> to the <strong>Oregon Supreme Court<\/strong> and the <strong>U.S. Supreme Court<\/strong> (which both turned down the opportunity to hear the case) for the right to get a <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>water discharge permit<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 16px; padding:0; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6;\"><strong>Kinross Copper<\/strong> had all other <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>Federal and State permits<\/strong><\/span> to <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">develop<\/span> Bornite<\/strong> and was <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>missing<\/strong><\/span> only a <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>water discharge permit<\/strong><\/span>. <strong>Oregon&#39;s DEQ <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">conducted tests<\/span><\/strong> and <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>concluded that the proposed water discharge<\/strong><\/span> would <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>not violate<\/strong><\/span> applicable <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>water-quality standards<\/strong><\/span>. Still, the <strong>Three Basin Rule<\/strong> <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">prohibited<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">new<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">water discharges<\/span><\/strong> into the <strong>North Santiam River Subbasin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 16px; padding:0; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6;\">On December 2, 2025, the <strong>Three Basin Rule<\/strong> was changed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oregon.gov\/deq\/rulemaking\/adopted\/pages\/threebasin2025.aspx\" style=\"color:#2980b9; text-decoration:underline;\"><strong>click here to see<\/strong><\/a> to allow <strong>DEQ<\/strong> to <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">issue new<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">water quality permits<\/span><\/strong> that allow facilities to discharge to these basins.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 16px; padding:0; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6;\">The <strong>historical non-NI 43-101 resource estimate<\/strong> for Bornite showed <strong>3.2 million short tons (equal to ~2.90 Mt) averaging <span style=\"color:#d35400;\">2.2% copper<\/span>, plus <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">0.017 oz\/t gold<\/span> and <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">0.54 oz\/t silver<\/span><\/strong>. That represented roughly <span style=\"color:#d35400;\"><strong>138.5 million lb copper<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>54,000 oz gold<\/strong><\/span>, and <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\"><strong>1.7 million oz silver<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 16px; padding:0; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6;\">This is what <strong>Kinross Copper<\/strong> was <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>estimating<\/strong><\/span> when <strong>NI 43-101 standards<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>didn&#39;t<\/strong><\/span> exist. <strong>AWCM<\/strong> is <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>working now to establish<\/strong><\/span> a <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>maiden<\/strong><\/span> <strong>NI 43-101 resource estimate<\/strong> for Bornite.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 16px; padding:0; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6;\"><strong>Power Metallic Mines (TSXV: PNPN)<\/strong>, which <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>gained by 775.56%<\/strong><\/span> following NIA&#39;s suggestion at <strong>$0.225 per share<\/strong> to <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>hit a high<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>$1.97 per share<\/strong>, recently issued one of the <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">highest-grade<\/span> maiden resource estimates<\/strong> for any <strong>North American <span style=\"color:#d35400;\">copper project<\/span><\/strong> in 2026:<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 16px; padding:0; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.6;\"><strong>PNPN&#39;s <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">maiden<\/span> NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate<\/strong> for the <strong>Lion Zone<\/strong> shows an <strong>indicated 4.145 Mt averaging <span style=\"color:#d35400;\">1.68% copper<\/span>, 2.61 g\/t palladium, 0.85 g\/t platinum, <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">0.49 g\/t gold<\/span>, <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">12.21 g\/t silver<\/span>, 0.10% nickel, and 0.005% cobalt<\/strong>. This represents roughly <span style=\"color:#d35400;\"><strong>153.07 million lb copper<\/strong><\/span>, <strong>348,000 oz palladium<\/strong>, <strong>114,000 oz platinum<\/strong>, <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>64,000 oz gold<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\"><strong>1.627 million oz silver<\/strong><\/span>, <strong>8.99 million lb nickel<\/strong>, and <strong>430,000 lb cobalt<\/strong>. It also shows an <strong>inferred 0.601 Mt averaging <span style=\"color:#d35400;\">1.84% copper<\/span>, 2.86 g\/t palladium, 0.59 g\/t platinum, <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">0.41 g\/t gold<\/span>, <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">12.47 g\/t silver<\/span>, 0.13% nickel, and 0.0065% cobalt<\/strong>.
