The CEO of Super Copper (CSE: CUPR)<\/strong> has resumed<\/strong><\/span> aggressive insider buying<\/strong><\/span> in recent days for the first time since August 20th, purchasing<\/span> 71,500 shares<\/strong> in the open market!<\/p>\n\n

How is this legal<\/strong><\/span> while CUPR<\/strong> is awaiting its initial<\/span> drill assay results<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n

The answer may be found in a major<\/span> exploration update<\/strong> that received little<\/span> attention<\/strong> on October 1st, when CUPR<\/strong> disclosed that visible copper<\/strong><\/span> has been identified<\/span><\/strong> in all four initial<\/span> drill holes<\/strong> at its flagship<\/span> Cordillera Cobre Project<\/strong> in Chile.<\/p>\n\n

Importantly, each of CUPR's three drill platforms<\/strong> has yielded<\/strong><\/span> visible copper mineral occurrences<\/strong><\/span> within the El Alto<\/strong> volcanic sequence.<\/p>\n\n

Chalcocite<\/strong> has been logged<\/strong><\/span> in DH26CC-002<\/strong> and DH26CC-004<\/strong>, while covellite<\/strong> has been identified<\/strong><\/span> in DH26CC-003<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Most significantly, DH26CC-003 contained<\/span> ten separate copper-bearing occurrences<\/span><\/strong> at depths ranging<\/strong><\/span> from approximately 30m to 581m<\/strong>. DH26CC-003<\/strong> is the deepest completed<\/span> hole<\/strong> of the program to date at 593.2m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

By publicly disclosing<\/strong><\/span> these visual observations<\/strong><\/span> before the bulk of the CEO's latest insider purchases<\/span><\/strong>, CUPR<\/strong> put important information<\/strong><\/span> about what management<\/strong> has observed<\/strong><\/span> in the drill core<\/strong> into the public domain<\/strong><\/span> while laboratory assays<\/strong> remain pending<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n

On October 1st, CUPR's CEO purchased<\/span> 18,000 shares<\/strong> in the open market. On October 2nd, he aggressively purchased<\/span> another 51,000 shares<\/strong>, including purchases at prices as high as $0.575 per share<\/strong>. On October 5th, he purchased<\/strong><\/span> an additional 2,500 shares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In total, CUPR's CEO<\/strong> has purchased<\/span> 71,500 shares<\/strong> for approximately $36,243<\/strong> since October 1st at a weighted-average<\/span> price<\/strong> of approximately $0.507 per share<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The insider buying<\/strong><\/span> does NOT<\/strong><\/span> mean that CUPR's CEO already knows<\/span><\/strong> the assay results<\/strong>. If he possessed material<\/span> undisclosed<\/span> assay results<\/strong>, securities laws would generally prohibit<\/strong><\/span> him from trading. His aggressive buying<\/strong><\/span> suggests that after seeing the drill core<\/strong> and publicly disclosing<\/strong><\/span> the visible copper observations<\/strong><\/span>, he remains willing to invest substantial additional personal capital<\/strong><\/span> while awaiting the laboratory assays<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

CUPR's upcoming initial<\/span> assay results<\/strong> could be among the most important<\/span> drill results<\/strong> in NIA's history.<\/p>\n\n
