The #1 largest producing <\/strong><\/span>gold mine<\/strong><\/span> in U.S. history was the Homestake Mine<\/strong> in Lead, SD. It operated for over<\/span> 125 years<\/strong> from 1876 through 2002 and produced<\/strong><\/span> 43.9 million oz of gold<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

DC<\/strong> is currently drilling<\/strong><\/span> at its Maitland Gold Project<\/span><\/strong> located approximately three miles north<\/strong><\/span> and contiguous<\/strong><\/span> with the Homestake Mine <\/strong>the richest<\/strong><\/span> gold mine<\/strong><\/span> in U.S. history!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

One week ago, DC<\/strong> announced<\/strong><\/span> that it intercepted extremely high grades<\/strong><\/span> of gold<\/strong><\/span> at Maitland<\/strong>. DC intercepted<\/span> 25.03 g\/t gold<\/span><\/strong> over 4.4 meters<\/strong>. In another drill hole, DC intercepted<\/span> 9.36 g\/t gold<\/span> over 2.62 meters<\/strong>. The width<\/strong>, grade<\/strong> and stratigraphy<\/strong> of intercepts<\/strong><\/span> identified at Maitland<\/strong> to date are analogous<\/strong><\/span> to the gold mineralization<\/strong><\/span> found in the “West Ledge”<\/strong> system at the historic Homestake Mine<\/strong> that produced over<\/strong><\/span> 6 million oz of gold<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

DC’s drill holes targeting<\/span> Homestake Mine-style gold mineralization<\/span><\/strong> have now produced multiple high-grade<\/span> gold intercepts<\/span><\/strong> in at least three distinct ledges<\/strong> within the JB Gold Zone<\/strong> at Maitland<\/strong>: 34 Ledge<\/strong>, 35 Ledge<\/strong> and 36 Ledge<\/strong>. Drilling at Maitland<\/strong> is transitioning<\/strong><\/span> from wider spacing<\/strong><\/span> of approximately 250 meters<\/strong>, to tighter spacing<\/strong><\/span> to delineate<\/strong><\/span> the ledges<\/strong> now outlined<\/strong><\/span> which remain open <\/strong><\/span>along <\/strong><\/span>strike<\/strong> and to depth<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

DC’s brand-new high-grade<\/span> gold discoveries<\/span><\/strong> at Maitland<\/strong> are located at a much shallower depth<\/strong><\/span> than exploration results<\/strong> from the upper portion<\/strong> of the West Ledge<\/strong> system at Homestake<\/strong>. In the West Ledge<\/strong> system at Homestake<\/strong>, which ultimately produced over<\/strong><\/span> 6 million oz of gold<\/strong><\/span>, the highest <\/span>gold grades<\/span><\/strong> were encountered<\/strong><\/span> at depths<\/strong> that DC’s exploration programs<\/strong> have not <\/strong><\/span>yet drill tested<\/strong>. DC<\/strong> has exclusive access<\/strong><\/span> to 145 years <\/strong>of historical drilling data<\/strong> for the Homestake District<\/strong> and based on this data it fully expects to find<\/strong><\/span> even higher<\/span> gold grades<\/span><\/strong> and additional<\/span> ledges<\/strong> as drilling continues<\/strong><\/span> at its Maitland Gold Project<\/span><\/strong> directly to the north<\/strong><\/span> of the Homestake Mine<\/strong> the #1 richest<\/span> gold mine<\/span><\/strong> in U.S. history.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

DC<\/strong> is also currently drilling<\/strong><\/span> at Richmond Hill<\/strong>, which is located 2.3 miles west<\/strong><\/span> of Maitland<\/strong> and 1.5 miles north<\/strong><\/span> of Coeur Mining’s active<\/span> Wharf Mine<\/strong>, which produced<\/strong><\/span> 93,502 oz of gold<\/strong><\/span> in 2023. Both Richmond Hill<\/strong> and Maitland<\/strong> are located on private land<\/strong> and will provide<\/strong><\/span> operational synergies<\/strong> due to their close proximity<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

DC<\/strong> currently has four drills on site<\/strong> at its properties in the Homestake District<\/strong> of South Dakota<\/strong>. We expect to see consistent<\/span> news flow<\/strong> of drilling <\/strong><\/span>results<\/strong> for a long time to come. During the Great Depression<\/strong><\/span> as the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined by 74%<\/span><\/strong>, Homestake Mining Company increased by 474%<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
