For many years we have always heard the name<\/span> Robert Quartermain, but never really knew<\/span> who he was. At the same time, we were always very familiar with Silver Standard Resources<\/span> and the mines Quartermain developed<\/span> in Argentina. We were also very familiar with the Brucejack Mine.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

When we suggested<\/span> Droneshield (ASX: DRO) in April 2022 at $0.20 per share, a large<\/span> DRO shareholder saw that we profiled<\/span> the <\/b>company and<\/b> was surprised that we did so because he saw we mainly focus<\/span> on resource companies. This person got in touch with us<\/span> and said that if we like resource companies, the best<\/span> gold deal of the decade<\/span> is about to IPO on the NYSE American exchange Dakota Gold (DC)<\/span>.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

At first, we were skeptical<\/span> about it because it was trading for about $6 per share and hit a high<\/span> of $8 per share, and we thought it was pricey because it didn’t<\/span> yet have any gold resources<\/span>. We always believed it was likely to decline<\/span> in the <\/b>short-term but<\/b> would ultimately become one of the largest gaining<\/span> gold stocks<\/span> of all time.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

After DC finally began to dip<\/span> from its high<\/span>, we tried calling<\/span> its CEO, but the first time we tried calling him he was busy at the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame ceremony<\/span> for Robert Quartermain. The second time we called him, he was busy at the site adding another new<\/span> drilling rig. <\/b>Finally,<\/b> when we did get in touch with him, we realized that the Homestake District is likely to be revitalized<\/span> and go back into production<\/span> in the years ahead.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
