What caught our attention to Power Nickel Inc. (TSXV: PNPN)<\/strong> originally had nothing<\/strong><\/span> to do with nickel<\/strong> but was the fact they drilled<\/span> one hole<\/strong> in this entirely new<\/span> Lion Discovery area<\/strong> and discovered high-grade<\/span> platinum<\/span><\/strong>. We consider platinum<\/strong><\/span> to be the world’s most undervalued<\/span> commodity<\/strong>. Discovering high-grade<\/span> platinum<\/span><\/strong> in North America is extremely rare<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The high frequency traders<\/strong> had their algorithms programmed<\/span><\/strong> to naked short<\/strong><\/span> countless<\/span> millions<\/strong> of PNPN shares<\/strong>, because the price of nickel<\/strong> was going straight down<\/strong><\/span>, down<\/strong><\/span>, down<\/strong><\/span> throughout all of 2023, but PNPN<\/strong> was holding up <\/strong><\/span>very strongly<\/strong><\/span> relative to the price of nickel<\/strong> and other nickel stocks<\/strong>. Almost every nickel stock<\/strong> was down <\/strong><\/span>more than the price of nickel<\/strong> except<\/strong><\/span> for PNPN<\/strong>, so they kept naked shorting<\/strong><\/span> more and more shares of PNPN<\/strong> all year long.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

What caused the short <\/strong><\/span>squeeze<\/strong><\/span> had nothing<\/strong><\/span> to do with platinum<\/strong><\/span> but was the discovery<\/strong><\/span> of high-grade <\/strong><\/span>copper<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The naked shorts<\/strong><\/span> had no<\/span> <\/strong>clue <\/strong>that PNPN<\/strong> would discover<\/span> 8.17% copper<\/span><\/strong>, 8.44 g\/t platinum<\/strong><\/span>, 6.25 g\/t palladium<\/strong><\/span>, 0.58% nickel<\/strong>, 0.59 g\/t gold<\/strong><\/span>, and 69.14 g\/t silver<\/strong><\/span> over 14.42 meters<\/strong> in drill hole PN-24-047.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Polymetallic<\/span> deposits<\/strong> with high-grade <\/span>copper<\/span><\/strong> in strong<\/span> jurisdictions<\/strong> like Quebec<\/strong> are as rare as rare can be<\/strong><\/span>. A decade from now they won’t<\/strong><\/span> exist<\/strong><\/span> anymore at all, because we desperately<\/span> need<\/span><\/strong> as much copper<\/strong><\/span> as possible for electricity infrastructure upgrades<\/span><\/strong> otherwise Nvidia GPU usage<\/span><\/strong> will bring down<\/span> electricity grids<\/strong> across North America.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

After 14 straight up<\/span> days<\/strong>, PNPN<\/strong> has the longest winning streak<\/strong><\/span> of up<\/span> days<\/strong> on any North American exchange, but the short <\/strong><\/span>squeeze<\/strong><\/span> could continue<\/strong><\/span> for many more<\/span> <\/strong>weeks<\/b>. Polymetallic<\/span> deposits<\/strong> containing high-grade <\/strong><\/span>copper<\/strong><\/span> in a strong<\/span> jurisdiction<\/strong> like Quebec<\/strong> is the best<\/strong><\/span> thing any company can possibly hope to discover<\/strong><\/span>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
