NIA’s President<\/strong> has a lot of knowledge about naked short selling<\/strong><\/span> that he learned years ago from former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne<\/strong> who won a $20 million settlement<\/strong><\/span> from Merrill Lynch<\/strong> after their legal discovery showed that Merrill purposely<\/span> allowed<\/span> FTDs<\/strong> (failure to delivers<\/strong><\/span>) to occur to collect huge fees<\/strong><\/span> on hard to borrow<\/strong><\/span> shares<\/strong> with negative<\/span> rebates<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Power Nickel Inc. (TSXV: PNPN) CEO Terry Lynch<\/strong> recently filed<\/strong><\/span> a complaint<\/strong><\/span> with regulatory agencies<\/strong>. With the help<\/strong><\/span> of Eric Sprott<\/strong>, he was able to get hard <\/strong><\/span>data<\/strong> that proved<\/strong><\/span> their stock was being manipulated <\/strong><\/span>through naked short selling<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

According to PNPN CEO Terry Lynch<\/strong>, “They said shorting<\/span> is not<\/span> an issue. I said guys I’ve got different<\/span> math than you. I don’t<\/span> believe you. I don’t<\/span> believe you’re collecting<\/span> data properly<\/span>. Their bad<\/span> data still showed shorting<\/span> was a problem<\/span>. The real<\/span> data, which we’re getting now because that is one of the great breakthroughs<\/span> we found is that there is a way to get real<\/span> data for individual companies. We’ve done that at Power Nickel, and we’ve filed<\/span> a complaint<\/span> with CIRO and FINRA on these numbers.”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
