On Thursday evening, NIA suggested<\/span> Questcorp Mining (CSE: QQQ)<\/strong> at $0.175 per share<\/strong> as its latest brand-new<\/span> gold stock suggestion<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

QQQ gained by 20%<\/span><\/strong> on Friday to $0.21 per share<\/strong> on strong<\/span> volume<\/strong> of 1.35 million shares<\/strong>. Its current market cap<\/strong> is only CAD$14.762 million <\/strong>or USD$10.675 million<\/strong>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We love<\/span> polymetallic<\/span> CRD projects<\/strong> and QQQ<\/strong> is drilling<\/span> four separate high-grade<\/span> CRD targets<\/strong> at its La Union Project<\/strong> in Sonora Mexico:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

  • Union Main Mine<\/strong> Area – <\/strong>The program will use angled drill holes to test limestone and other carbonate stratigraphic hosts within the Clemente Formation, with the potential to reach the underlying Caborca Formation. These units are considered the primary hosts for replacement-style mineralization.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • North Union Mine Area <\/strong>– The initial focus of the program will be on testing structural interpretations. Additional drilling is anticipated following this first phase, as results will help guide future drill testing of areas with past mining activity and various structural orientations.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • Cobre Mine<\/strong> Area <\/strong>– The Clemente Formation is the primary host unit, and structural features combined with areas of past mining provide multiple target zones. Drilling will begin with an initial stratigraphic test hole to help orient around the thickness of the host unit and extend into the lower Caborca Formation, which is also a favorable host for CRD-style mineralization.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • Central Union<\/strong> Area <\/strong>– Structural targets, as possible mineralization feeder zones, are a key focus in this past mining manto area. There are extensive additional target zones in the area, and this initial orientation drilling will provide vectoring for the next stage of drilling and further study of the Clemente Formation, and possibly into the Caborca Formation as currently interpreted.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    La Union<\/strong> is well positioned for near-term<\/span> exploration success<\/span><\/strong>, with targets<\/strong> that include both oxide<\/strong> and deeper sulfide mineralization<\/strong>. The exploration target focus<\/span><\/strong> is for a large potential<\/span> gold discovery<\/span><\/strong> that expands<\/strong><\/span> from previous smaller<\/span> scale mine operations<\/strong> on the property. La Union <\/strong>was operated<\/strong><\/span> during the 1950s by Penoles Mining Company <\/strong>and targeted<\/span> chimney<\/strong> and manto-style <\/strong>within the upper oxide zones <\/strong>and produced<\/span><\/strong> approximately one million tons<\/strong> of high grade<\/strong><\/span>, polymetallic <\/strong><\/span>oxides<\/strong> averaging<\/span> 7-20 g\/t Au<\/span><\/strong>, 300 g\/t Ag<\/strong><\/span>, 10-20% Pb<\/strong><\/span> and 5% Zn<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

    These grades<\/strong> are exceptional<\/strong><\/span>, and drilling<\/strong> will test<\/strong><\/span> both shallow<\/span> mineralization<\/strong> and continuity at depth<\/strong><\/span>. The La Union Project<\/strong> was originally identified<\/strong><\/span> through exploration work<\/strong> in the western Sonora Gold Belt<\/span><\/strong>, conducted in collaboration with AngloGold Ashanti Limited, Centerra Gold Inc., and Hochschild Mining Plc.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

    QQQ<\/strong> is drilling<\/strong><\/span> at La Union<\/strong> right now. NIA's North Peak Resources (TSXV: NPR)<\/strong> is awaiting<\/span> drill permits<\/strong> and will begin<\/strong><\/span> drilling<\/strong><\/span> its own CRD targets<\/strong> in Nevada shortly!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
