The deal is expected to <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>raise over USD$3 billion<\/strong><\/span> on the <strong>Hong Kong Stock Exchange<\/strong>, making it the <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">largest<\/span> IPO<\/strong> in <strong>Hong Kong<\/strong> since <strong>Kuaishou&rsquo;s US$6.2 billion <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">debut<\/span><\/strong> in 2021. For Chinese investors, <strong>Zijin Mining (HK: 2899)<\/strong> is the same kind of story, a <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">once-in-a-generation<\/span> compounder<\/strong> that made <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">early<\/span> holders<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>extremely wealthy<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>Zijin Mining&rsquo;s <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">spin-off<\/span><\/strong> and <strong>IPO<\/strong> of <strong>Zijin Gold International<\/strong> this month is <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>more<\/strong><\/span> than a <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>gold play<\/strong><\/span>&#8230; it&rsquo;s a <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">sophisticated<\/span> financial strategy<\/strong> to <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>boost<\/strong><\/span> the parent&rsquo;s <strong><span style=\"color:#d35400;\">copper<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">acquisition<\/span> firepower<\/strong>. <strong>Zijin<\/strong> is only <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">offering<\/span> 15%<\/strong> of <strong>Zijin Gold International<\/strong> in its <strong>IPO<\/strong> thereby <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">keeping<\/span> ~85% ownership<\/strong>. This ensures <strong>Zijin Mining<\/strong> will continue to <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">consolidate<\/span> results<\/strong> from <strong>Zijin Gold International<\/strong> into the <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">parent<\/span> Zijin Mining&#39;s balance sheet<\/strong> while <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">tapping<\/span> Hong Kong&rsquo;s <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">premium<\/span> <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold valuations<\/span><\/strong> of <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>20&ndash;25x earnings<\/strong><\/span>, which is not only <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>higher<\/strong><\/span> than what the <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">average<\/span> U.S. listed <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold miner<\/span><\/strong> trades for, but <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>far exceeds<\/strong><\/span> the <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">lower<\/span> multiples<\/strong> of <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">diversified<\/span> mining companies<\/strong> listed in <strong>Hong Kong<\/strong> and\/or <strong>Shanghai<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>Zijin Mining<\/strong> as of June 30th had a <strong>cash position<\/strong> of <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>USD$5 billion<\/strong><\/span>. Following <strong>Zijin Gold International&#39;s IPO<\/strong> this month, <strong>Zijin Mining<\/strong> will see its <strong>cash position <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">grow<\/span><\/strong> to <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>USD$8 billion <\/strong><\/span>thereby <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>strengthening<\/strong><\/span> its <strong>balance sheet <\/strong>and <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">enhancing<\/span> borrowing capacity<\/strong> while <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>improving<\/strong><\/span> its <strong>credit profile<\/strong> with <strong>Moody&rsquo;s<\/strong> and <strong>S&amp;P<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">We already know that <strong>Zijin Mining<\/strong> has shown interest in <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">acquiring<\/span> Solaris Resources (TSX: SLS)<\/strong>, <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>owner<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>Lowell Mineral Exploration S.A.<\/strong>, which was <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>founded<\/strong><\/span> around the <strong>Ecuador projects<\/strong> <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">originated<\/span><\/strong> by the late geologist <strong>J. David Lowell<\/strong> including its <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">flagship<\/span> Warintza <span style=\"color:#d35400;\">copper project<\/span><\/strong>. By <strong>Zijin Gold International <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">raising<\/span><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"> USD$3 billion<\/span><\/strong> in its <strong>IPO<\/strong> later this month, <strong>Zijin Mining<\/strong> will <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">gain<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">greater<\/span> financial flexibility<\/strong> to be used for the <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>acquisition<\/strong><\/span> of <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">major<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">new<\/span> <span style=\"color:#d35400;\">copper projects<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>Highlander Silver (TSX: HSLV)&#39;s Chairman<\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">33.1% owner<\/span> Richard Warke<\/strong> is also the <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">largest<\/span> shareholder<\/strong> of <strong>SLS<\/strong> so if we see <strong>Zijin Mining <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">acquire<\/span> SLS<\/strong> before year-end, <strong>HSLV<\/strong> is likely to finish 2025 <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>trading<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>deep<\/strong><\/span> into <strong>double digit <\/strong>territory.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">We all saw how much our <strong>Highlander Silver (TSX: HSLV)<\/strong> and <strong>Titan Mining (TSX: TI)<\/strong> <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">increased<\/span><\/strong> in value immediately after our <strong>Augusta Gold (TSX: G)<\/strong> got <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>acquired<\/strong><\/span>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/videos\/augusta-gold-acquired-by-anglogold-ashanti\/\"><strong>Click here<\/strong><\/a> to see the video <strong>NIA&#39;s President<\/strong> made after <strong>AngloGold Ashanti (AU) <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">acquired<\/span> <\/strong>our<strong> Augusta Gold (TSX: G)<\/strong> at a <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>huge premium<\/strong><\/span>. <strong>Solaris Resources (TSX: SLS)<\/strong> has a <strong>market cap<\/strong> of <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>$1.185 billion<\/strong><\/span> or <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>8.20x higher<\/strong><\/span> than <strong>Augusta Gold<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">NIA&#39;s <strong>Minaurum Gold (TSXV: MGG)<\/strong> is sort of like a <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">low<\/span> market cap Mexican <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold<\/span>\/<span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">silver<\/span> version<\/strong> of <strong>SLS<\/strong> because it <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">controls<\/span> Mexican <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold<\/span>\/<span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">silver<\/span> projects<\/strong> that <strong>J. David Lowell<\/strong> believed had <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">huge <\/span><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">potential<\/span><\/strong> including his <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">favorite<\/span> Mexican project<\/strong>,<strong> <\/strong><strong>Santa Marta<\/strong>. <strong>MGG&#39;s Alamos <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">Silver Project<\/span><\/strong> is <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>fully permitted<\/strong><\/span> for <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>production<\/strong><\/span> with a <strong>29-year local community agreement<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>signed<\/strong><\/span> in December, <strong>4 rigs<\/strong> currently <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>spinning<\/strong><\/span>, and its <strong>maiden resource estimate<\/strong> coming soon!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">Regardless of what happens to <strong>SLS<\/strong>, <strong>Zijin Gold International<\/strong> is going to have <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>USD$3 billion<\/strong><\/span> in <strong>cash<\/strong> to <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">spend acquiring new<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">international<\/span> <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold projects<\/span><\/strong>.
