{"id":3432,"date":"2025-09-15T01:21:56","date_gmt":"2025-09-15T05:21:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/?p=3432"},"modified":"2025-09-16T07:32:28","modified_gmt":"2025-09-16T11:32:28","slug":"nia-sure-thing-winner-almadex-hits-new-all-time-high","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/articles\/nia-sure-thing-winner-almadex-hits-new-all-time-high\/","title":{"rendered":"NIA&#8217;s 100% Sure Thing Winner Almadex (TSXV: DEX) Hit New All-Time High Last Week Up 220.93%"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">On December 19, 2023, NIA announced <strong>Almadex Minerals (TSXV: DEX)<\/strong> as its<strong> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">favorite brand-new<\/span> stock suggestion<\/strong> at <strong>$0.215 per share<\/strong> explaining it was the only stock in the market besides <strong>Augusta Gold (TSX: G)<\/strong> that had a <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">100% chance<\/span><\/strong> of <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>making large gains<\/strong><\/span>. <strong>DEX<\/strong> hit a <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>new all-time high<\/strong><\/span> last week of <strong>$0.69 per share<\/strong> for a <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>gain of 220.93%<\/strong><\/span> from NIA&#8217;s suggestion price and finished the week at <strong>$0.62 per share<\/strong>. <strong>Rick Rule<\/strong> who we <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">highly<\/span> respect<\/strong> also <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">suggested<\/span> DEX<\/strong> about a year after NIA.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"408\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/dexhitsnewalltimehigh-1024x408.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3433\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/dexhitsnewalltimehigh-1024x408.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/dexhitsnewalltimehigh-300x119.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/dexhitsnewalltimehigh-768x306.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/dexhitsnewalltimehigh.jpg 1437w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">Today, <strong>Contango ORE (CTGO)<\/strong> is definitely the <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>safest <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>gold miner<\/strong><\/span> in the market with the <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">highest<\/span> odds<\/strong> of becoming a <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>huge<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong> winner<\/strong><\/span> from its current share price of <strong>$22.22 per share<\/strong> mainly because it will <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">generate<\/span> $300 million<\/strong> or <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>more<\/strong><\/span> in <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>free cash flow<\/strong><\/span> over the next three years, which <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>exceeds<\/strong><\/span> its <strong>current market cap<\/strong> and <strong>enterprise value<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>Discovery Silver (TSX: DSV)<\/strong> which made one of the <span style=\"color:#2980b9\"><strong>most brilliant <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><strong>acquisitions<\/strong><\/span> we have ever seen of the <strong>Porcupine Complex<\/strong> in Ontario for <span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><strong>US$425 million<\/strong><\/span> has a <strong>market cap<\/strong> right now of <span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><strong>US$2.88 billion<\/strong><\/span>, but what is the point of <span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><strong>owning<\/strong><\/span> <strong>DSV<\/strong> at this point? In <strong>Discovery&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong>first quarter<\/strong> of <font color=\"#27ae60\"><b>operating <\/b><\/font>the <strong>Porcupine Complex<\/strong> post-acquisition they <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60\">reported<\/span> free cash flow<\/strong> of <span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><strong>US$27.3 million<\/strong><\/span>. So, at this rate it will take <strong>26.37 years of operations<\/strong> to <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60\">cover<\/span> DSV&#8217;s market cap<\/strong>?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">If <strong>Newmont <span style=\"color:#e74c3c\">didn&#8217;t<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60\">want<\/span> Porcupine<\/strong> and was willing to sell it for <strong>US$425 million<\/strong>, what are the <strong>odds<\/strong> it is <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9\">still<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60\">operating<\/span><\/strong> in <strong>26 years<\/strong>? <strong>Newmont<\/strong> did a <strong>PEA<\/strong> before selling it (<span style=\"color:#e74c3c\"><strong>not<\/strong><\/span> a <strong>feasibility study<\/strong>) and even the <strong>PEA<\/strong> said it will only <span style=\"color:#27ae60\"><strong>operate<\/strong><\/span> for <strong>22 years<\/strong>. If a <strong>feasibility study<\/strong> was done, maybe the <strong>mine life<\/strong> would only be <strong>10 years<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>Contango ORE (CTGO)<\/strong> <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c\">doesn&#8217;t<\/span><\/strong> have a <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60\">big-name<\/span> investor<\/strong> like <strong>Eric Sprott<\/strong> behind the company, so it <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>remains<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>undiscovered<\/strong><\/span>&#8230; but <strong>CTGO&#8217;s CEO Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse<\/strong> previously <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">founded<\/span> NovaGold (NG)<\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">discovered<\/span> Donlin<\/strong>, and <strong>NovaGold&#8217;s <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">largest<\/span> shareholder<\/strong> is <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">billionaire<\/span> John Paulson <\/strong>who recently <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">purchased a 40%<\/span> direct stake<\/strong> in <strong>Donlin<\/strong> in addition to becoming <strong>NG&#8217;s <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">largest<\/span> shareholder<\/strong> (<strong>NG<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>owns 60%<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>Donlin<\/strong>). On an <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">overall<\/span> basis<\/strong> (<span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>directly<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>indirectly<\/strong><\/span> through <strong>NG<\/strong>),<strong> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">billionaire<\/span> John Paulson<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>owns<\/strong><\/span> the <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>majority<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>Donlin<\/strong>, which was <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>discovered<\/strong><\/span> by <strong>CTGO&#8217;s CEO Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse<\/strong> and is the <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">largest<\/span> <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">undeveloped<\/span> <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold project<\/span><\/strong> in the United States that has a <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>realistic<\/strong><\/span> chance of <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">future<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">development<\/span><\/strong>&#8230; although <strong>Donlin&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong>initial <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">CAPEX<\/span><\/strong> is <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">extremely high<\/span><\/strong>. If <strong>John Paulson <\/strong>is <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>successful<\/strong><\/span> on this <strong>bet<\/strong>, he is likely to <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>profit many billions<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">We believe <strong>CTGO<\/strong> is the <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>bigger opportunity<\/strong><\/span> because it is already <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>generating massive free cash flow<\/strong><\/span> today and <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>won&#8217;t<\/strong><\/span> have any <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>dilution<\/strong><\/span>. In 2020 during the last <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>mini<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong> gold <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>boom<\/strong><\/span>, <strong>CTGO&#8217;s Johnson Tract<\/strong> development project was <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>owned<\/strong><\/span> by a company <strong>HighGold Mining<\/strong>, which <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">soared<\/span><\/strong> from <strong>$0.57 <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">up to<\/span> $3.14<\/strong> for a <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>gain of 450.87%<\/strong><\/span> in six months:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"442\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/highgoldmining-1024x442.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3434\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/highgoldmining-1024x442.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/highgoldmining-300x129.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/highgoldmining-768x331.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/highgoldmining-1536x662.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/highgoldmining.jpg 1802w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>CTGO<\/strong> with <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">impeccable<\/span> timing<\/strong>&#8230; <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>swooped<\/strong><\/span> in and <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">acquired<\/span> HighGold Mining<\/strong> in July 2024 for <strong>$0.52 per share<\/strong>. At <strong>HighGold&#8217;s September 2020 <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">high<\/span><\/strong> the company was worth <strong>C$185.422 million<\/strong> or <strong>US$139.1 million<\/strong>. With <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>gold<\/strong><\/span> hitting <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>much higher new all-time highs<\/strong><\/span> since then we are sure if <strong>CTGO <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">didn&#8217;t<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">acquire<\/span> HighGold<\/strong> near its <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>all-time low<\/strong><\/span>, <strong>HighGold<\/strong> would be worth <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">at least<\/span> US$200 million<\/strong> today, but if we use the <strong>US$139.1 million<\/strong> figure to value <strong>Johnson Tract<\/strong> and <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>subtract<\/strong><\/span> it from <strong>CTGO&#8217;s enterprise value<\/strong> of <strong>$275.85 million<\/strong>, <strong>CTGO&#8217;s stake<\/strong> in <strong>Manh Choh<\/strong> one of the <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">world&#8217;s<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">highest grade<\/span> open pit <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold mines<\/span><\/strong> is currently being valued at only <strong>$136.75 million<\/strong> or <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">1.3675x<\/span> CTGO&#8217;s estimated 2025 full year <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">free cash flow<\/span><\/strong> of <strong>US$100 million<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>QuestCorp Mining (CSE: QQQ)<\/strong> if it makes a <strong>CRD <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">intercept<\/span><\/strong> at any one of its<strong> four targets<\/strong> at <strong>La Union<\/strong> could become our <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>largest gainer<\/strong><\/span> of 2025, but it is also the <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">riskiest<\/span> stock<\/strong> we have suggested in years, so it also has a chance of becoming our only <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>loser<\/strong><\/span> of the year. From <strong>last week&#8217;s description<\/strong> of what they found at the <strong>first two targets<\/strong> our <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>confidence<\/strong><\/span> in <strong>QQQ<\/strong> has <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>gone way up<\/strong><\/span>, but <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>nobody<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>knows<\/strong><\/span> anything until the <strong>assay results<\/strong> are <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>announced<\/strong><\/span> later this year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>North Peak Resources (TSXV: NPR)<\/strong> is another <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">low<\/span> market cap<\/strong>, <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>high risk <\/strong><\/span><strong>stock<\/strong> with potential for <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>huge upside<\/strong><\/span>&#8230; with an <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">amazing<\/span> CRD project<\/strong> that is similar to <strong>QQQ<\/strong>, and <strong>NPR<\/strong> already achieved<strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"> high-grade<\/span> <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold intercepts<\/span><\/strong> at the <strong>Prospect Mountain Mine Complex<\/strong> last year when <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">nobody<\/span><\/strong> was <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>paying attention<\/strong><\/span>. This caused <strong>NPR<\/strong> to <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>complete<\/strong><\/span> the <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>full<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#2ecc71;\"><strong> <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>acquisition<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>100%<\/strong> of the <strong>Prospect Mountain Mine Complex<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>NPR&#8217;s Executive Chairman Harry Dobson<\/strong> is <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>equally <\/strong><\/span>as<span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong> successful<\/strong><\/span> as <strong>Frank Giustra<\/strong>, but <strong>Dobson<\/strong> is <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">low<\/span> profile<\/strong> preferring to <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>race<\/strong><\/span> his <strong>horses<\/strong> vs. <strong>Giustra<\/strong> being <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">high<\/span> profile<\/strong> with his <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>donations<\/strong><\/span> to the <strong>Clinton Foundation<\/strong>. There is absolutely <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">no<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">premium<\/span> <\/strong>priced into <strong>NPR<\/strong> like you see with <strong>Frank Giustra&#8217;s Argenta Silver (TSXV: AGAG)<\/strong> a stock that will <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>gap up<\/strong><\/span> again tomorrow followed by another <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>collapse<\/strong><\/span> in the days that follow. If all of the <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>hype<\/strong><\/span> for <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>gold<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\"><strong>silver<\/strong><\/span> suddenly <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>went away<\/strong><\/span> (we are <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>very early<\/strong><\/span> in the <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>bull market<\/strong><\/span>, but we always think in terms of a <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>worst-case scenario<\/strong><\/span>) it is <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>unlikely<\/strong><\/span> to matter for <strong>NPR<\/strong>, which initially <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>gained by 800%<\/strong><\/span> within one year of <strong>NIA&#8217;s March 2021 <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">suggestion<\/span><\/strong> during a <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">bear market<\/span><\/strong> for <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>gold stocks<\/strong><\/span>. <strong>AGAG<\/strong> needs a <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">hyped-up<\/span><\/strong> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>bull market<\/strong><\/span> just to <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>avoid crashing by 80%<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>Barrick<\/strong> could have <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">owned<\/span> 70%<\/strong> of <strong>AGAG&#8217;s <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">only<\/span> <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">silver project<\/span> El Quevar<\/strong> if they only <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>spent $4 million <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>more<\/strong><\/span> on the property, but they <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>gave it back<\/strong><\/span> to <strong>Golden Minerals (AUMN)<\/strong> last year after determining the <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">poor<\/span> recoveries<\/strong> would make <strong>El Quevar <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">uneconomical<\/span><\/strong>. <strong>AGAG<\/strong> only had to <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">pay <\/span>$3.5 million<\/strong> to <strong>AUMN<\/strong> for <strong>100%<span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"> ownership<\/span><\/strong> of <strong>El Quevar<\/strong> and <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>didn&#8217;t<\/strong><\/span> even need to <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>issue<\/strong><\/span> a <strong>royalty<\/strong> because <strong>AUMN<\/strong> knew the property was practically <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>worthless<\/strong><\/span>.
