First Mining Gold (TSX: FF)’s Springpole<\/strong> is likely to become Canada’s next<\/span> major<\/span> gold project<\/span><\/strong> to receive<\/span> environmental approval<\/strong>, which would allow it to become fully permitted<\/strong><\/span> so that it can be developed<\/strong><\/span> into Canada’s next<\/span> major<\/span> gold mine<\/span><\/strong>. Springpole<\/strong> is a large-scale <\/strong><\/span>gold project<\/strong><\/span> with a long<\/span> mine-life<\/strong>, which could make it the perfect target<\/strong><\/span> for Zijin Gold International <\/strong>after its September 29th<\/strong> IPO<\/strong> on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange<\/strong> (the largest<\/span> gold<\/span> IPO <\/strong>of all-time<\/strong>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

First Mining's Springpole<\/strong> has an indicated resource<\/strong> of 4,600,000 oz gold<\/strong><\/span> including a probable reserve<\/strong> of 3,800,000 oz gold <\/strong><\/span>plus an additional inferred resource<\/strong> of 300,000 oz gold<\/strong><\/span>. First Mining's Duparquet<\/strong> has a measured & indicated resource<\/strong> of 3,440,600 oz gold<\/strong><\/span> plus an additional inferred resource<\/strong> of 2,640,500 oz gold<\/strong><\/span>. First Mining's Cameron<\/strong> has a measured & indicated resource<\/strong> of 464,000 oz gold<\/strong><\/span> plus an additional inferred resource<\/strong> of 533,000 oz gold<\/strong><\/span>. First Mining's 30% owned<\/span> Pickle Crow<\/strong> gives them an attributable inferred resource<\/strong> of 369,150 oz gold<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

First Mining's market cap<\/strong> here at $0.325 per share<\/strong> is only CAD$415.464 million<\/strong><\/span> or USD$301.61 million<\/strong><\/span>. First Mining<\/strong> is being valued at only <\/strong><\/span>USD$24.42 per oz<\/strong> of gold resources<\/strong><\/span>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

With gold<\/strong><\/span> at $3,680 per oz<\/strong><\/span> this is equal to 0.66%<\/strong> of the gold price<\/strong><\/span>. If we return<\/strong><\/span> to 2006 levels, First Mining Gold (TSX: FF)<\/strong> could soon trade for <\/strong><\/span>US$368.74 per oz<\/strong> of gold resources<\/strong><\/span>, which would equal a valuation of US$4.553 billion<\/strong><\/span> or CAD$6.273 billion<\/strong><\/span> and would value First Mining Gold (TSX: FF)<\/strong> at $4.91 per share<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Do we think we head back to North American<\/strong> gold resources<\/strong><\/span> worth 10.02%<\/strong> of the gold price<\/strong><\/span> in the short-term<\/strong><\/span>? Probably not<\/strong><\/span>, but we most likely<\/strong><\/span> do within the next<\/span> 5-6 years<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

This would equal a valuation of US$1.259 billion<\/strong><\/span> or CAD$1.734 billion<\/strong><\/span> and would value First Mining Gold (TSX: FF)<\/strong> at $1.36 per share<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
