On September 8th, NIA sent out an alert<\/span><\/strong> entitled, ‘Zijin Gold to Launch Largest<\/span> Gold<\/span> IPO in History on Hong Kong Exchange This Month’<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

In this alert NIA said, “Zijin Mining’s spin-off<\/span> and IPO of Zijin Gold International this month is more<\/span> than a gold play<\/span>… it’s a sophisticated<\/span> financial strategy to boost<\/span> the parent’s copper<\/span> acquisition<\/span> firepower.”<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

NIA explained, “We already know that Zijin Mining has shown interest in acquiring<\/span> Solaris Resources (TSX: SLS), owner<\/span> of Lowell Mineral Exploration S.A., which was founded around the Ecuador projects originated by the late geologist J. David Lowell including its flagship<\/span> Warintza copper project<\/span>. By Zijin Gold International raising USD$3 billion<\/span> in its IPO later this month, Zijin Mining will gain<\/span> greater<\/span> financial flexibility to be used for the acquisition<\/span> of major<\/span> new<\/span> copper projects<\/span>.”<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Solaris Resources (TSX: SLS) gained by 11.01%<\/span><\/strong> today to a new 39-month high<\/span><\/strong> of $8.47 per share<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

If Zijin Mining acquires<\/span> Solaris Resources (TSX: SLS)<\/strong> everybody is going to reinvest<\/strong><\/span> their profits<\/strong><\/span> into Highlander Silver (TSX: HSLV)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

So far based on what we see at Bonita<\/strong> they will probably discover <\/span>1 million oz<\/span><\/strong> of near-surface<\/span> high-grade<\/span> gold<\/span><\/strong>. Our guess is this is already priced<\/strong><\/span> into HSLV<\/strong>. With the $86.25 million<\/span><\/strong> that HSLV<\/strong> is about to raise they will be able to drill<\/strong><\/span> with multiple<\/span> rigs<\/strong> including in the high-grade<\/span> section<\/strong> further north on the property containing the historical resource estimate<\/strong> of 348,000 oz<\/span><\/strong> grading 22.4 g\/t Au<\/span><\/strong> and 9.0 million oz<\/span><\/strong> grading 578.1 g\/t Ag<\/strong><\/span>. They need to make the market believe that San Luis<\/strong> contains 3 million+ oz<\/strong><\/span> of total high-grade <\/strong><\/span>gold resources<\/strong><\/span> and then it will be revalued to $15+ per share<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

For the average<\/span> investor<\/strong>, HSLV<\/strong> is very high risk<\/strong><\/span>… and it is much more suitable to consider a company like Contango ORE (CTGO)<\/strong> that is already generating positive free cash flow<\/strong><\/span> today. CTGO’s Johnson Tract<\/strong> contains extremely high<\/span> grades<\/strong> of gold<\/strong><\/span>, copper<\/strong><\/span>, lead<\/strong><\/span>, zinc<\/strong><\/span>, and silver<\/strong><\/span>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
