NIA's latest brand-new<\/span> stock suggestion: Total Metals (TSXV: TT) gained by 10.61%<\/span><\/strong> today to a new all-time high<\/strong><\/span> of $0.73 per share<\/strong> on record<\/span> volume<\/strong> of 510,510 shares<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

TT<\/strong> has 29.7 million shares outstanding<\/strong> for a current market cap<\/strong> of only CAD$21.68 million<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TT's flagship<\/span> Electrolode Project<\/strong> is located along the Confederation Lake Greenstone Belt<\/strong> near Kinross Gold (KGC)'s Great Bear Project<\/strong> that Kinross<\/strong> acquired<\/strong><\/span> in 2022 for CAD$1.8 billion<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The original<\/span> exploration work<\/strong> at the Electrolode Project<\/strong> was conducted<\/strong><\/span> by Noranda<\/strong> the same<\/span> company<\/strong> that did the early<\/span> exploration work<\/strong> at Great Bear<\/strong>. In the 1990s, Noranda<\/strong> was the dominant force<\/strong><\/span> in Canadian metals exploration<\/strong>. It was one of the largest<\/strong><\/span> companies<\/strong> in all of Canada.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Noranda aggressively tested<\/span> volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS)<\/strong> targets across Canada<\/strong> in search of copper<\/strong><\/span> and zinc <\/b><\/font>deposits <\/strong>including at Great Bear<\/strong> and Electrolode<\/strong>. At Great Bear<\/strong>, Noranda drill-hole P-93-1<\/strong> from 1993 intersected<\/strong><\/span> the LP Zone<\/strong> of what became the Great Bear Gold Deposit<\/span><\/strong>, but it was not<\/span> sampled<\/strong> for assays<\/strong> at the time. Noranda <\/strong>only sampled<\/span> massive sulphide horizons<\/strong> in drill-core <\/strong>and ignored<\/span> stringer sulphide zones<\/strong> containing<\/span> quartz veins <\/strong>because Noranda<\/strong> was exploring<\/strong><\/span> only for base metals<\/strong> and the Confederation Belt<\/strong> was considered then to have no<\/span> gold <\/span>potential<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

TT<\/strong> is about to begin sampling<\/span> Noranda's untested<\/span> historical drill-core<\/strong> for gold <\/strong><\/span>and has drill logs<\/strong> from 1997 of Noranda<\/strong> indicating<\/span> quartz veining<\/strong> exists in unsampled<\/span> Electrolode historical drill-core<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Electrolode's Arrow Zone<\/strong> already contains an inferred resource<\/strong> with 2.1 million tonnes<\/strong> at 0.66% copper<\/strong><\/span>, 4.75% zinc<\/strong><\/span>, 0.66 g\/t gold<\/strong><\/span>, and 17.7 g\/t silver<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TT<\/strong> has just announced a deal to acquire two additional high-grade <\/strong><\/span>gold deposits<\/strong><\/span>, High Lake<\/strong> and West Hawk Lake<\/strong>, located along the Ontario-Manitoba border.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

  • MLHL-22-17 intersected 148.37 g\/t gold<\/span> over 1.3 metres<\/strong> from 113.20 to 114.50 metres<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • MLHL-22-45 intersected 9.20 g\/t gold<\/span> over 26.4 metres<\/strong> from 292.1 to 318.5 metres<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • MLHL-22-40 intersected 6.14 g\/t gold<\/span> over 24.55 metres<\/strong> from 14.61 to 41.80 metres<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • MLHL-22-12 intersected 13.52 g\/t gold<\/span> over 6.5 metres<\/strong> from 229.00 to 235.5 metres<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t
  • MLHL-22-28 intersected 9.82 g\/t gold<\/span> over 9.75 metres<\/strong> from 25.25 to 35.00 metres<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
