font-size: 14px;\">Total Metals (TSXV: TT)<\/strong> as its <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>newly listed high-grade <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>polymetallic<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong> <\/strong><\/span><strong>resource stock suggestion<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>TT <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">gained by 20.27%<\/span><\/strong> today to a <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>new all-time high<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>$0.89 per share<\/strong> on <font color=\"#27ae60\"><strong>strong<\/strong> <\/font><strong>volume<\/strong> of <strong>281,590 shares<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"494\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/totametals89-1024x494.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3869\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/totametals89-1024x494.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/totametals89-300x145.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/totametals89-768x370.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/totametals89.jpg 1444w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">In November 2023, when the <strong>TSX Venture Composite Index<\/strong> was at its <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>bottom<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>506.65<\/strong>, both <strong>Frank Giustra<\/strong> and <strong>Rob McEwen <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">invested big<\/span><\/strong> into <strong>McFarlane Lake Mining<\/strong> at a time when it was <strong>&quot;<span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">focused<\/span> on the <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">exploration<\/span> and <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">development<\/span> of the High Lake mineral property located immediately east of the Ontario-Manitoba border and the West Hawk Lake mineral property located immediately west of the Ontario-Manitoba border.&quot;<\/strong> At the time, <strong>Rob McEwen<\/strong> said, <strong>&quot;I became a shareholder because McFarlane Lake is <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">located<\/span> in a <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">similar<\/span> geological setting and <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">encountering<\/span> the type of <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">impressive high grade<\/span> <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold results<\/span> that I saw in the early days of Goldcorp Inc.&rsquo;s <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">spectacular<\/span> Red Lake Mine.&quot;<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><b>McFarlane Lake <\/b>had a <strong>market cap<\/strong> of <strong>CAD$27.24 million<\/strong> despite <strong><span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold exploration stocks<\/span><\/strong> being at their <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">most depressed<\/span> prices<\/strong> in decades, and <strong>McFarlane Lake<\/strong> had <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">no<\/span> visibility<\/strong> trading on the <strong>NEO exchange<\/strong>, which almost <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>nobody<\/strong><\/span> has access to.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">In comparison, the company <strong>Blue Lagoon Resources (CSE: BLLG)<\/strong> which has a <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">small<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">high-grade<\/span> <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold resource<\/span><\/strong> in B.C. at <strong>Dome Mountain<\/strong> was worth only <strong>CAD$15 million<\/strong> in November 2023 and has since seen its <strong>market cap <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">increase 6.20x higher<\/span><\/strong> to <strong>CAD$93 million<\/strong>, but their <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>gold<\/strong><\/span> is hosted in <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>narrow<\/strong><\/span>, <strong>structurally <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">complex<\/span> quartz-carbonate veins<\/strong> at an <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">average<\/span> width<\/strong> of only <strong>2.7 meters<\/strong>. It <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">requires<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">selective<\/span> cut-and-fill underground mining<\/strong>, and this is <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>slow<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>costly<\/strong><\/span>, and <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>capital-intensive<\/strong><\/span>. <strong>BLLG&#39;s fine-grained <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold<\/span><\/strong> (25 microns, often within pyrite) <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">complicates<\/span> recovery<\/strong>,<span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"> <\/span><strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">lowering<\/span> efficiency<\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">raising<\/span> <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">costs<\/span><\/strong>. Its <strong>localized <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">high-grade<\/span> zones<\/strong> have <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>poor<\/strong><\/span> <strong>continuity<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">The <strong>High Lake<\/strong> and <strong>West Hawk Lake<span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"> gold projects<\/span> <\/strong>being <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>acquired<\/strong><\/span> by <strong>Total Metals (TSXV: TT)<\/strong> are in the <strong>Archean greenstone belts<\/strong> near Kenora, which is a <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">world-class<\/span> <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold camp<\/span> setting<\/strong>. These <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">two adjacent<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">high-grade<\/span> <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold projects<\/span><\/strong> contain <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">broader<\/span> mineralization zones<\/strong> associated with <strong>porphyry-volcanic contacts <\/strong>making them <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">more predictable<\/span><\/strong> than <strong>BLLG&#39;s Dome vein systems<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>High Lake<\/strong> and <strong>West Hawk Lake<\/strong> contain <strong><span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">coarse gold<\/span> <\/strong>which <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">reduces<\/span> technical <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">risk<\/span><\/strong> with <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">85% <\/span>gravity <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">recoveries<\/span><\/strong>&#8230; a <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>simple<\/strong><\/span>, <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">low-cost<\/span><\/strong> type of <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>processing<\/strong><\/span> with <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">minimal<\/span> chemicals<\/strong>. <strong>Six <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold mills<\/span><\/strong> are within <strong>trucking distance<\/strong>.
