They assume it is because the company <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>purchased<\/strong><\/span> the <strong>Porcupine<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>assets<\/strong><\/span> from <strong>Newmont<\/strong>&hellip; but that is <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>not<\/strong><\/span> the <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">real<\/span> reason<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Porcupine<\/strong> is a <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">solid<\/span> mid-tier <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">gold complex<\/span><\/strong>, but it was <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>non-core<\/strong><\/span> to <strong>Newmont<\/strong>. If the market <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>truly wanted<\/strong><\/span> <strong>Porcupine <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">exposure<\/span><\/strong>, they could simply <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>buy<\/strong><\/span> <strong>Newmont<\/strong> itself, which owns <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>higher quality<\/strong><\/span>, <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">larger scale<\/span> projects<\/strong> with <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>lower costs<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The reality is this:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>At least <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">$1&ndash;$2 billion<\/span> of Discovery Silver&rsquo;s valuation is driven by &ldquo;<span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">future belief<\/span>&rdquo; in the <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">development<\/span> of the Cordero <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">Silver Project<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>And that belief only exists because <strong>Eric Sprott<\/strong> backed the deal, <strong>Discovery <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">gained<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">credibility<\/span><\/strong>, and <strong>Discovery <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">gained<\/span><\/strong> the <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>ability<\/strong><\/span> to <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>fund development<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n<hr style=\"border:0; border-top:1px solid #cccccc; margin:18px 0;\" \/>\n<p><strong>NIA&rsquo;s President <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">discovered<\/span> Cordero<\/strong> long before <strong>Eric Sprott<\/strong>. On <strong>July 1, 2014<\/strong>, <strong>NIA <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">publicly suggested<\/span><\/strong> <strong>Levon Resources<\/strong> at <strong>$0.285 per share<\/strong> at a <strong>market cap<\/strong> of <strong>$57 million<\/strong>, when <strong>Levon<\/strong> had <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">$41 million<\/span> in <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">cash<\/span><\/strong>. That meant <strong>Levon&rsquo;s enterprise value<\/strong> for the <strong>Cordero <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\">Silver Project<\/span><\/strong> was an <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>insanely low<\/strong><\/span> <strong>$16 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Eric Sprott&rsquo;s Discovery Silver<\/strong> later <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">acquired<\/span> NIA&rsquo;s Levon Resources<\/strong> for <strong>0.55 shares of Discovery for each Levon share<\/strong>. <strong>Discovery Silver&rsquo;s <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">recent<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">all-time high<\/span><\/strong> of <strong>$8.48 per share<\/strong> <strong>&times; 0.55<\/strong> = the equivalent of <strong>$4.664 per Levon share<\/strong>, a <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">gain of 1,536.49%<\/span><\/strong> since <strong>NIA&rsquo;s Levon <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">suggestion<\/span><\/strong> at <strong>$0.285 per share<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The rocks at <strong>Cordero<\/strong> have not changed.
