{"id":5620,"date":"2025-12-11T19:55:00","date_gmt":"2025-12-12T00:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/?p=5620"},"modified":"2025-12-12T16:36:58","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T21:36:58","slug":"north-peak-resources-new-52-week-high-drilling-results-coming-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/technicals\/north-peak-resources-new-52-week-high-drilling-results-coming-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"North Peak Gains 20.69% to New 52-Week High of $1.40"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"font-family: Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.5;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>North Peak Resources (TSXV: NPR) <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">gained by 20.69%<\/span><\/strong> today to a <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>new 52-week high<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>$1.40 per share<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"407\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/npr140-1024x407.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5621\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/npr140-1024x407.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/npr140-300x119.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/npr140-768x305.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/npr140-1536x610.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/npr140.jpg 1744w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>NPR <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">resembles<\/span> Kirkland Lake Gold in 2001<\/strong>, prior to <strong>NPR Executive Chairman Harry Dobson<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>taking<\/strong><\/span> its market cap from <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>$20 million<\/strong><\/span> to <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>$2 billion<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">If <strong>NPR&#39;s Industry Tunnel<\/strong> and\/or <strong>Dean Cave drill core assays<\/strong> are <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>very high grade<\/strong><\/span> (which seems likely given the <strong>channel samples<\/strong> up to <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>90.4 g\/t gold<\/strong><\/span>), <strong>NPR<\/strong> may want to lead into the <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>blockbuster<\/strong><\/span> results with a <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>warm-up<\/strong><\/span> announcement.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">The so-called &ldquo;waste dumps&rdquo; at <strong>Prospect Mountain<\/strong> were created between 1880 and 1950, when only <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">spectacular<\/span> ore<\/strong> &mdash; often <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>15&ndash;50 g\/t gold<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\"><strong>600&ndash;1,800 g\/t silver<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color:#7f8c8d;\"><strong>10&ndash;25% lead<\/strong><\/span>, and <span style=\"color:#7f8c8d;\"><strong>5&ndash;15% zinc<\/strong><\/span> &mdash; was <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>sent<\/strong><\/span> to the mill. Anything <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>less<\/strong><\/span> was <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>tossed aside<\/strong><\/span>. What was considered &ldquo;waste&rdquo; a century ago could be <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>extremely economic<\/strong><\/span> today, potentially allowing <strong>NPR<\/strong> to begin <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">generating<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">meaningful<\/span> revenue<\/strong> in 2026.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">In March, <strong>Borealis Mining (TSXV: BOGO)<\/strong> had a <strong><span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\">low<\/span> market cap<\/strong> similar to <strong>NPR<\/strong> today. By simply <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>processing<\/strong><\/span> its <strong>surface stockpile<\/strong> &mdash; and <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>without<\/strong><\/span> delivering any <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">major<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">new discoveries<\/span><\/strong> &mdash; <strong>BOGO <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">soared<\/span><\/strong> to a market cap of <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>~$260 million<\/strong><\/span> by the end of November.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>NPR<\/strong> has an estimated <strong>220,000 tons<\/strong> of material at the <strong>Diamond Tunnel<\/strong> dump, compared to <strong>BOGO&rsquo;s<\/strong> <strong>327,000-ton<\/strong> stockpile prior to processing. Historic sampling at the dump showed feed grades ranging from a <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>low<\/strong><\/span> of <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>0.76 g\/t gold<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\"><strong>27.5 g\/t silver<\/strong><\/span> to a <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>high<\/strong><\/span> of <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>3.19 g\/t gold<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color:#4e5f70;\"><strong>34.46 g\/t silver<\/strong><\/span> &mdash; which <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>strongly<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>suggests<\/strong><\/span> that <strong>NPR&rsquo;s material<\/strong> could be <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>higher grade<\/strong><\/span> than the <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\"><strong>0.50 g\/t gold<\/strong><\/span> stockpile <strong>BOGO<\/strong> recently processed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\">If <strong>NPR <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">confirms<\/span><\/strong> these grades with assays now pending, its &ldquo;waste&rdquo; dumps could quickly become one of the <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>highest-margin<\/strong><\/span>, <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">near-surface<\/span> oxide feed sources<\/strong> in Nevada &mdash; potentially <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>transforming<\/strong><\/span> <strong>NPR&rsquo;s valuation<\/strong> in a <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">very short<\/span> period of time<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>BOGO&#39;s <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">largest<\/span> shareholder Rob McEwen<\/strong> recently <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>purchased<\/strong><\/span> the property <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>directly adjacent<\/strong><\/span> to the south of <strong>NPR&#39;s Prospect Mountain Mine Complex<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>i-80 Gold (TSX: IAU)&#39;s <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">flagship<\/span> Ruby Hill Complex <\/strong>is located <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>directly adjacent<\/strong><\/span> to the north of <strong>NPR&#39;s Prospect Mountain Mine Complex<\/strong>. <strong>i-80 Gold<\/strong> closed today at a <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">record high<\/span> market cap<\/strong> of <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>$1.603 billion<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/articles\/nias-favorite-gold-mining-projects\/\"><strong>Click here<\/strong><\/a> to read <strong>NIA&#39;s <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">#1 most important<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">alert<\/span><\/strong> in history entitled, <strong>&#39;NIA&rsquo;s <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">Favorite<\/span> <span style=\"color:#f1c40f;\">Gold Mining<\/span> Projects&#39;<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif;\"><em>Past performance is not an indicator of future returns.
