Noble Mineral Exploration (TSXV: NOB) <\/strong>gained by 15%<\/span><\/strong> today to a new 5-year high<\/strong><\/span> of $0.23 per share<\/strong>! If Canada Nickel Company (TSXV: CNC)<\/strong> itself was a gold<\/span>\/silver<\/span> company<\/strong> its market cap<\/strong> would be $3-$4 billion<\/strong><\/span> but nickel<\/strong> is out of favor<\/strong><\/span> right now. NOB owns a 20% stake<\/span><\/strong> in East Timmins Nickel<\/strong> owner of Mann West<\/strong> and Mann Central<\/strong> which already rival<\/strong><\/span> Crawford<\/strong> in size<\/strong><\/span> despite only ~40%<\/strong><\/span> of the geophysical footprint<\/span><\/strong> being drilled<\/strong><\/span>! NOB<\/strong> also owns huge stakes<\/strong><\/span> in CNC<\/strong> and Homeland Nickel (TSXV: SHL)<\/strong> the most promising<\/span> U.S. nickel<\/strong> company, plus NOB owns<\/span> NSRs<\/strong> in multiple<\/span> CNC properties<\/strong>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Crucially, Noble retains<\/span> 5-year exploration rights<\/strong> for gold<\/strong><\/span>, copper<\/strong><\/span>, and volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS)<\/strong> deposits on lands transferred to Canada Nickel—and that optionality is now being actively exercised<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Noble has just completed its first<\/span> drill hole of 2026<\/strong> targeting Kidd Creek–style VMS mineralization<\/strong>, reporting an intercept of 6.5 meters grading 0.64% zinc<\/span><\/strong> with associated anomalous copper<\/span>, silver<\/span>, and lead<\/span><\/strong> from 141.0 to 147.5 meters down hole<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

What makes this exciting is not<\/strong><\/span> the zinc grade in isolation, but what zinc can represent in a VMS system. In classic Kidd Creek–style deposits<\/strong>, zinc-rich mineralization often occurs on the flanks or above the copper-rich core<\/strong>—meaning early zinc hits can be the first vector<\/strong><\/span> toward a much larger<\/span> massive sulphide system<\/strong> along strike or at depth.<\/p>\n\n

This interpretation is now strongly supported by geophysics<\/strong>. A Mise-à-la-masse (MALM) survey<\/strong> (which injects electrical current directly into the mineralized drill hole) outlined a coherent conductive horizon<\/strong> precisely where the polymetallic mineralization<\/strong><\/span> was intersected<\/strong><\/span>. Even more importantly, a surficial magnetic survey<\/strong> detected<\/strong><\/span> a coincident magnetic anomaly<\/strong> over the same zone—confirming<\/strong><\/span> the target<\/strong><\/span> is both<\/span> electrically conductive and magnetic<\/strong>, a hallmark signature<\/strong><\/span> of sulfide-rich VMS systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Together, the drilling and geophysics suggest Noble is not chasing an isolated zinc occurrence—it is vectoring into a traceable, multi-metal sulfide system<\/strong> that can now be followed systematically along strike and at depth. This is exactly how many world-class<\/span> VMS deposits<\/strong> were discovered<\/strong><\/span> and expanded<\/strong><\/span> in their earliest<\/span> stages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Next steps are already in motion<\/strong><\/span>: CG-25-02<\/strong> is collared roughly 200 meters to the northwest<\/strong> to intersect<\/strong><\/span> the same zone<\/strong><\/span> at approximately 200 meters vertical depth<\/strong>, and an additional 1,000 meters<\/strong> (2 holes) have been scheduled for Southwest Carnegie Township<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
