We thought it was shady<\/strong><\/span> in December when Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick<\/strong> made a huge profit<\/strong><\/span> on his Rumble (RUM)<\/strong> shares that he purchased<\/strong><\/span> for $2 per share<\/strong> in the SPAC deal<\/strong> that Cantor Fitzgerald promoted<\/span><\/strong> and then resold<\/strong><\/span> these shares to Tether<\/strong> for $7.50 per share<\/strong>. After all, Lutnick<\/strong> is the one Wall Street <\/strong>figure who has come out and said that Tether<\/strong> is legit<\/strong><\/span> and fully backed <\/strong><\/span>even though it is unaudited<\/strong><\/span> and there is no<\/span> proof<\/span><\/strong> of what its reserves<\/strong><\/span> are, and we have no <\/strong><\/span>idea<\/strong><\/span> what its liabilities<\/strong><\/span> are. There has even been some speculation<\/strong><\/span> that Lutnick<\/strong> may own a 5% stake<\/strong><\/span> in Tether<\/strong> through his Cantor Fitzgerald<\/strong>, although at his confirmation<\/strong><\/span> hearing in January… Lutnick<\/strong> said he held<\/span> no<\/span> equity<\/strong> in Tether<\/strong>, but did own<\/strong><\/span> a convertible note<\/strong><\/span> in Tether<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Today, Lutnick<\/strong> has become the man in charge<\/strong><\/span> of implementing<\/strong><\/span> the tariffs<\/strong> that are disrupting<\/strong><\/span> the entire world. Although we fully support<\/span><\/strong> these tariffs<\/strong> or anything else President Trump<\/strong> wants to do to burst<\/strong><\/span> our tech bubble<\/span><\/strong>, strengthen<\/strong><\/span> our manufacturing base<\/strong>, increase production<\/strong><\/span> of critical minerals<\/strong>, reduce<\/span> housing costs<\/span><\/strong>, and lower<\/span> income\/wealth inequality<\/span><\/strong>… maybe it isn’t <\/strong><\/span>a good idea to have Lutnick<\/strong> in charge<\/strong><\/span> of tariffs<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Is it possible Lutnick<\/strong> originally did own a 5% stake<\/strong><\/span> in Tether<\/strong> but changed<\/strong><\/span> it to a convertible note<\/strong> when he realized he would be part of the Trump Administration<\/strong>?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

When did he first<\/strong><\/span> acquire<\/strong><\/span> this 5% stake<\/strong><\/span>? Did he really pay $600 million<\/strong><\/span> for it? Was it given<\/strong><\/span> to him for free<\/strong><\/span> to try and boost<\/strong><\/span> confidence<\/strong><\/span> in Tether<\/strong> and artificially<\/span> inflate<\/span> Crypto<\/strong>?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

If it really was a convertible note<\/strong> the whole time why would Tether<\/strong> need to borrow money <\/strong><\/span>from Cantor Fitzgerald<\/strong> considering the huge reserves<\/strong><\/span> it is supposed to have?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

If Tether<\/strong> turns out to be a massive <\/strong><\/span>fraud<\/strong><\/span> what effect will this have on the U.S. economy<\/strong> considering Lutnick<\/strong> is in such a prominent<\/span> position<\/strong>??? If Tether goes bust<\/span><\/strong> will Lutnick<\/strong> push to use<\/strong><\/span> tax dollars<\/strong> to bailout<\/span> Tether<\/strong>? Has Tether<\/strong> become a systemic <\/strong><\/span>risk <\/strong><\/span>where if it failed<\/strong><\/span> it would bring down<\/strong><\/span> Cantor Fitzgerald<\/strong> and many other Wall Street firms<\/strong>?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Eric Sprott’s daughter<\/strong> was once married<\/strong><\/span> to Neal Cabot Ohm<\/strong>. He works for Lutnick<\/strong> as Managing Director<\/strong> of Newmark<\/strong> a sister firm of Cantor Fitzgerald<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Eric Sprott<\/strong> previously sued Neal Cabot Ohm <\/strong>for sneaking into his daughter’s safety deposit box<\/strong> and stealing<\/strong><\/span> all of her gold<\/strong><\/span>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Lutnick’s firm hired<\/span><\/strong> Neal Cabot Ohm <\/strong>after these allegations<\/strong><\/span> were already reported<\/strong><\/span> in the media<\/strong>. What does it say about Lutnick<\/strong> if these are the type of people running<\/strong><\/span> his companies<\/strong>?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
