On March 13th, with Hydrograph Clean Power (CSE: HG)<\/strong> at $8.12 per share<\/strong>, NIA published an alert<\/span><\/strong> entitled, 'Hydrograph’s $50B Dream vs $1.5M Reality'<\/strong> (click here to read<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n\n

NIA highlighted how HG<\/strong> had peaked<\/strong><\/span> two days earlier at an all-time high<\/strong><\/span> of $11.34 per share<\/strong> with a market cap<\/strong> of CAD$2.87 billion<\/strong><\/span> despite spending only $1.5 million on R&D in six years<\/strong><\/span> on developing their Hyperion graphene technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Social media influencer Kevin Bambrough<\/strong>, who is believed to be one of HG's largest<\/span> shareholders<\/strong>, had tweeted<\/strong><\/span> the previous night, "All we need to do is focus on the catalysts, contracts, US Army, DOE, more military, drones, ballistics, Air Force, industrial partners, consumer goods, Nasdaq, gas plant deal and then replicating the Texas gas plant deal in the EU and UK… For me 5000 tonnes and $50B cap is a low bar. Very low bar."<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

As NIA predicted: none<\/strong><\/span> of these promises<\/strong><\/span> have come true<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n

The "EPA approval"<\/strong> that HG received<\/span><\/strong> in February just means their graphene particles<\/strong>, when handled properly<\/strong><\/span>, are unlikely to kill<\/strong><\/span> people. NIA explained in a February 25th alert (click here to read<\/strong><\/a>) how back in April 1998, Turbodyne Technologies (TRBD)<\/strong> received<\/span> "EPA approval"<\/strong> certifying their Turbopac<\/strong> as an acceptable solution to reduce emissions of diesel buses under the EPA's Urban Bus Retrofit\/Rebuild Program. This caused TRBD's market cap<\/strong> to soar to US$700 million<\/strong><\/span> in July 1998, before losing 99.42%<\/strong><\/span> of its value by July 2002.<\/p>\n\n

President Trump<\/strong> has selected<\/strong><\/span> Titan Mining (TSX: TI)<\/strong>, which NIA suggested last year at $0.84 per share<\/strong>, to produce<\/span> Purified Micronized Graphite<\/strong> and Coated Spherical Purified Graphite<\/strong> on U.S. Army bases<\/strong> for defense, energy, and industrial applications. The U.S. Army<\/strong> has many use cases<\/strong><\/span> for Purified Micronized Graphite<\/strong> and Coated Spherical Purified Graphite<\/strong> but doesn't<\/strong><\/span> have any applications<\/strong><\/span> for graphene<\/strong>. If the U.S. Army<\/strong> decides they need graphene<\/strong> in the future… the highly purified<\/span> graphite<\/strong> that Titan<\/strong> will be producing<\/strong><\/span> on U.S. Army bases<\/strong> is perfect<\/strong><\/span> for converting<\/strong><\/span> into graphene without<\/span><\/strong> any need to use<\/strong><\/span> Hydrograph's unproven<\/span> technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

NIA said on March 13th, "Instead of speculative technologies with minimal development spending, investors should focus on proven<\/span> small-cap companies already serving<\/span> major<\/span> industries<\/strong>. One example is Trio-Tech International (TRT)<\/strong>, a well-established semiconductor services company working closely with many of the world’s largest chipmakers including AMD<\/strong>, Infineon<\/strong>, and NXP Semiconductor<\/strong>."<\/p>\n\n

Since NIA's March 13th alert, Trio-Tech International (TRT)<\/strong> has gained by 67.42%<\/strong><\/span> vs. Hydrograph Clean Power (CSE: HG) declining by 45.81%<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Temas Resources (CSE: TMAS)<\/strong> has a much better chance of successfully commercializing<\/strong><\/span> its patented<\/span> Regenerative Chloride Leach (RCL)<\/strong> technology than Hydrograph Clean Power (CSE: HG)<\/strong> has of commercializing<\/span> Hyperion<\/strong>… and Temas<\/strong> has a market cap<\/strong> of approximately 1\/88th<\/strong><\/span> of Hydrograph<\/strong>. Approximately 22%<\/strong> of global gold<\/span> resources<\/strong> are trapped<\/strong><\/span> in refractory ore<\/strong>, which is difficult<\/strong><\/span> to process because the gold<\/strong><\/span> is locked tightly<\/span><\/strong> within sulfide minerals or tied up with carbonaceous material. The only way companies can currently achieve high recoveries<\/strong><\/span> from refractory ore<\/strong> is by using energy-intensive<\/strong><\/span> pretreatments like Pressure Oxidation (POX)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Privately held Revel Ridge<\/strong> is one of British Columbia's largest high-grade<\/span> polymetallic<\/span> gold<\/span>–silver<\/span> projects<\/strong> (3.0Moz @ 6.4g\/t AuEq) and will be testing Temas' patented<\/span> RCL technology<\/strong> this summer as a potential way to replace Pressure Oxidation (POX)<\/strong> and achieve high recoveries<\/strong><\/span> of gold<\/strong><\/span>, silver<\/strong><\/span>, zinc<\/strong><\/span>, and lead<\/strong><\/span> in a cost-effective<\/strong><\/span>, less energy-intensive<\/strong><\/span> way.<\/p>\n\n

IperionX (IPX)<\/strong>, which is a company similar to TMAS<\/strong> in that it has both titanium resources<\/strong> and patented<\/span> technologies<\/strong>, is currently worth approximately US$1 billion<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n
