{"id":9390,"date":"2019-05-24T10:09:00","date_gmt":"2019-05-24T14:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/?p=9390"},"modified":"2026-07-12T00:14:16","modified_gmt":"2026-07-12T04:14:16","slug":"urgent-nia-update-must-read-immediately","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/articles\/urgent-nia-update-must-read-immediately\/","title":{"rendered":"Urgent NIA Update &#8211; Must Read Immediately!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div><span style=\"font-family:sans-serif;\">You probably all heard about the May 2nd <strong>IPO<\/strong> of <strong>Beyond Meat (BYND)<\/strong>, which <strong><em><span style=\"color:#339900;\">raised<\/span><\/em> $240.625 million<\/strong> at <strong>$25 per share<\/strong> but immediately <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em><strong>gapped up by $21 or 84%<\/strong><\/em><\/span> to open&nbsp; May 2nd at <strong>$46 per share<\/strong> and finished its first day <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em><strong>up $40.75 or 163%<\/strong><\/em><\/span> to <strong>$65.75 per share<\/strong>. <em><strong>Two weeks later, BYND <span style=\"color:#339900;\">peaked at a high<\/span> of $96.78 per share <span style=\"color:#339900;\">up 287.12%<\/span> from its IPO price &#8211; with its market cap <span style=\"color:#339900;\">reaching<\/span> $5.56 billion or <span style=\"color:#339900;\">63X <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\">its trailing twelve month revenue<\/span> of $87.93 million.<\/strong><\/em> After <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\"><strong><em>dipping 20.69%<\/em><\/strong><\/span> to a low on Monday of $76.76 per share, it immediately <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em><strong>bounced by $5.34 or 6.96%<\/strong><\/em><\/span> to close yesterday at <strong>$82.10 per share<\/strong> and is <strong><em><span style=\"color:#339900;\">rallying big<\/span> once again<\/em><\/strong> this morning!<\/span><\/div>\n\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n\n<div><span style=\"font-family:sans-serif;\"><strong>BYND<\/strong> has developed a way to <strong><span style=\"color:#339900;\">produce<\/span> meat <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em>directly from<\/em><\/span> plants <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\">without killing<\/span> any animals<\/strong>. <strong>Carl&#8217;s Jr<\/strong> has just <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em><strong>launched<\/strong><\/em><\/span> a <strong>Beyond Burger<\/strong> using <strong>BYND&#8217;s <span style=\"color:#339900;\">plant-based<\/span> meat<\/strong> and it <strong><span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em>looks and tastes exactly like<\/em><\/span> a hamburger made with real meat<\/strong>. Although <strong>BYND<\/strong> is <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\"><strong>extremely overvalued<\/strong><\/span> and <strong>we <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\">wouldn&#8217;t buy the stock<\/span> <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\">under any circumstances<\/span><\/strong>, <strong>BYND<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em><strong>represents the beginning<\/strong><\/em><\/span> of a <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><strong>major new trend<\/strong><\/span> that <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\"><strong>threatens<\/strong><\/span> the <strong>beef industry<\/strong>! <em><strong>Already, the beef industry is <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\">suing<\/span> BYND to <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\">remove<\/span> the word meat from their <span style=\"color:#339900;\">plant-based<\/span> foods, with the U.S. Cattlemen&#8217;s Association <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\">filing a 15-page petition<\/span> with the USDA requesting that it define the word &#8220;meat&#8221; so that it <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\">cannot be used<\/span> to label products that <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\">do not contain<\/span> animal flesh!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n\n<div><span style=\"font-family:sans-serif;\">With <strong>BYND<\/strong> having the <strong><span style=\"color:#339900;\">most successful<\/span> IPO of the decade<\/strong>, private competitor&nbsp;<strong>Impossible Foods<\/strong> on May 13th announced a new <strong><span style=\"color:#339900;\">$300 million<\/span> venture captial round of funding<\/strong> and <strong>Burger King<\/strong> just announced that it will <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em><strong>begin offering<\/strong><\/em><\/span> the <strong>Impossible Burger<\/strong>!<\/span><\/div>\n\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n\n<div><span style=\"font-family:sans-serif;\"><em><strong>How are these companies <span style=\"color:#339900;\">making<\/span> their <span style=\"color:#339900;\">plant-based<\/span> meat?<\/strong><\/em> Using <strong>pea protein<\/strong>, but there is a <span style=\"color:#c0392b;\"><strong>major shortage<\/strong><\/span> of this <strong><span style=\"color:#339900;\">important<\/span> raw material<\/strong>. NIA has discovered a company <strong>Burcon Nutrascience (TSX: BU)<\/strong> that has <strong>dozens of <span style=\"color:#339900;\">patents<\/span> covering all of the <span style=\"color:#339900;\">most efficient<\/span> methods for <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em>extracting<\/em><\/span> protein from peas<\/strong> and the company has just entered into a <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><strong>major joint-venture agreement<\/strong><\/span> to <strong><span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em>build<\/em><\/span> one of the world&#8217;s <span style=\"color:#339900;\">largest<\/span> pea and canola protein <span style=\"color:#339900;\">production facilities<\/span><\/strong>. It will initially <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><strong><em>process<\/em> 20,000 tonnes of peas per year<\/strong><\/span> starting in mid-2020 to <span style=\"color:#339900;\"><em><strong>produce<\/strong><\/em><\/span> <strong>BU&#8217;s Peazazz&reg; and Peazac&trade; pea proteins<\/strong>, as well as <strong>BU&#8217;s Supertein&reg;, Puratein&reg; and Nutratein&reg; canola proteins<\/strong>.<\/span><\/div>\n\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n\n<div><span style=\"font-family:sans-serif;\"><em><strong>BU is a <span style=\"color:#339900;\">steal here<\/span> at $0.80 per share and we believe will <span style=\"color:#339900;\">become a $2-3 per share stock<\/span> by year-end!
