Aris Gold (TSX: ARIS) <\/strong>or ALLXF <\/strong>on the U.S. OTCQX<\/strong> recently raised CAD$85 million<\/strong><\/span> in a private placement<\/strong> priced at $2.25 per share<\/strong>. The incoming<\/span> ARIS board nominees<\/strong>, management<\/strong> and Strategic Advisor Frank Giustra<\/strong> personally participated<\/strong><\/span> in the offering<\/strong> for an aggregate of CAD$38 million<\/strong><\/span>. ARIS<\/strong> is currently trading for only $2.35 per share <\/strong>(near<\/span><\/strong> their investment price).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

After the recent release of subscription receipts ARIS<\/strong> now has 137.58 million shares outstanding<\/strong>. The U.S. OTCQX <\/strong>symbol ALLXF<\/strong> is currently trading for only $1.88 per share<\/strong> for a market cap<\/strong> of US$258.65 million<\/strong>. The company has a large cash position<\/strong><\/span> of US$174.1 million <\/span><\/strong>with US$81.74 million<\/strong><\/span> in long-term debt<\/strong><\/span> for a net cash position<\/strong><\/span> of US$92.36 million <\/strong><\/span>and an enterprise value<\/strong> of only US$166.29 million<\/strong>. ARIS<\/strong> will soon be closing<\/strong><\/span> on a streaming deal<\/strong> with Wheaton Precious Metals<\/strong> that will provide the company with an additional US$110 million<\/strong><\/span> in cash<\/strong><\/span>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

In 2020, ARIS produced<\/span> 23,832 oz of gold<\/span><\/strong> from its Marmato Upper Mine<\/strong> in Colombia<\/strong> that has been operating<\/span> since 1991<\/strong>. ARIS<\/strong> is about to construct<\/strong><\/span> the Marmato Lower Mine<\/strong> which will increase processing capacity<\/strong><\/span> to 5,500 tonnes per day<\/strong> (up from 1,200 tonnes per day<\/strong> today). When construction is complete<\/span> ARIS<\/strong> will produce<\/span> 165,000 oz of gold<\/span> per year<\/strong>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
