Celtic plc (LSE: CCP)'s season opener<\/strong> is today against Dundee FC<\/strong>. We just learned this morning who Celtic's opponent<\/strong> will be later this month in the UEFA Champions League<\/strong><\/span> qualifying play-off.<\/p>\n\n

Celtic<\/strong> will be taking on LASK<\/strong><\/span>, the champions<\/strong><\/span> of Austria<\/strong>, in a two-leg qualifying play-off<\/span><\/strong> on August 18th<\/strong> and August 25th<\/strong>. They are a very tough opponent<\/strong><\/span>, but after the recent signings of Kasper Høgh<\/strong> and Camilo Durán<\/strong>, Celtic<\/strong> should be able to win<\/strong><\/span>. If they do, they will receive a guaranteed minimum<\/span> of £40 million<\/span><\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n
