{"id":9842,"date":"2026-08-11T19:09:37","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T23:09:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/?p=9842"},"modified":"2026-08-11T19:09:39","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T23:09:39","slug":"qimc-soars-on-biggest-news-in-company-history","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/articles\/qimc-soars-on-biggest-news-in-company-history\/","title":{"rendered":"QIMC Soars 17.65% to $0.60 on Biggest News in Company History"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"max-width:650px; margin:0 auto; padding:0 10px; box-sizing:border-box; font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:16px; line-height:1.6; color:#333333; -webkit-text-size-adjust:100%; -ms-text-size-adjust:100%; mso-line-height-rule:exactly; display:block;\">\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\"><strong>QI Materials (CSE: QIMC) <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">gained by 17.65%<\/span><\/strong> today to <strong>$0.60 per share<\/strong> after announcing that its <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>latest brand-new<\/strong><\/span>&nbsp;<strong>drill hole DDH-26-05<\/strong> is the company&#39;s <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">strongest<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">overall<\/span> drill hole<\/strong> to date based on the <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">first<\/span> 300 metres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\"><strong>QIMC <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">discovered<\/span> 23.5% H\u2082<\/strong> at only <strong>170 metres<\/strong> vs. the previous record hole <strong>DDH-26-04<\/strong> reaching a slightly higher <strong>24.3% H\u2082<\/strong>, but it took until <strong>707 metres<\/strong>. The <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">first<\/span> 300 metres<\/strong> of <strong>DDH-26-04<\/strong> peaked at only <strong>16.0% H\u2082<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\"><strong>DDH-26-05<\/strong> also has a <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">much higher<\/span> hit rate<\/strong>. About <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>74%<\/strong><\/span> of <strong>DDH-26-05<\/strong> readings were <strong>&ge;1% H\u2082<\/strong>, versus about <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>37%<\/strong><\/span> for <strong>DDH-26-04<\/strong>. That&#39;s a <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>major<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>improvement<\/strong><\/span> in the <strong>frequency\/continuity<\/strong> of <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>natural hydrogen<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\">This <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">new<\/span> hole<\/strong> had a <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">sustained<\/span> ~54 metre <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">hydrogen corridor<\/span><\/strong>, from <strong>143&ndash;197 metres<\/strong>, rather than just one spectacular reading. At about <strong>164&ndash;167 metres<\/strong>, they <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>encountered<\/strong><\/span> a <strong>mud seam\/void<\/strong>, <strong>lost water return<\/strong>, and <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">detected elevated<\/span> <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">hydrogen<\/span><\/strong> in the <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>ambient air<\/strong><\/span> at the <strong>rig<\/strong>. <strong>The company <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">interprets<\/span> this as <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">free gas flowing<\/span> from the formation into the borehole.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\">The <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>free-gas zone<\/strong><\/span> is <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>bracketed<\/strong><\/span> by <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">huge<\/span> readings<\/strong>: <strong>20.8% H\u2082<\/strong> at <strong>158 metres<\/strong> (<strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">above<\/span><\/strong> it) and <strong>23.5%<\/strong> at <strong>170 metres<\/strong> (<span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>below<\/strong><\/span> it). That makes the <span style=\"color:#2980b9;\"><strong>structural<\/strong><\/span> <strong>interpretation<\/strong> <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">much more<\/span> compelling<\/strong> than an <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>isolated<\/strong><\/span> <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">high<\/span> reading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\"><strong>QIMC<\/strong> is <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">still<\/span> <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">drilling<\/span><\/strong> at <strong>DDH-26-05<\/strong> and will be <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>drilling<\/strong><\/span> the <strong>hole<\/strong> down to <strong>900 metres<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/qimcbiggestnewsinhistory.jpg\" style=\"display:block; width:100%; max-width:600px; height:auto; margin:0 auto; border:0;\" \/><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\"><span style=\"font-size:8px;\"><em>Past performance is not an indicator of future returns.
