{"id":9892,"date":"2026-08-17T09:19:49","date_gmt":"2026-08-17T13:19:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/?p=9892"},"modified":"2026-08-17T11:25:58","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T15:25:58","slug":"saga-intersects-163-meters-high-grade-titanium-vanadium-iron","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inflation.us\/news\/announcement\/saga-intersects-163-meters-high-grade-titanium-vanadium-iron\/","title":{"rendered":"SAGA Intersects 163 Meters of 6.19% TiO\u2082 and 0.293% V\u2082O\u2085 and 43.07% Fe\u2082O\u2083"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"max-width:640px; margin:0 auto; padding:0 10px; box-sizing:border-box; font-family:Tahoma,Geneva,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:1.5; color:#222222; -webkit-text-size-adjust:100%; -ms-text-size-adjust:100%; mso-line-height-rule:exactly; display:block;\">\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\"><strong>SAGA Metals (TSXV: SAGA)<\/strong> just reported this morning that they <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">intersected<\/span> 163.0 m<\/strong> grading <strong>43.07% Fe\u2082O\u2083, 6.19% TiO\u2082 and 0.293% V\u2082O\u2085<\/strong>, including <strong>92.3 m<\/strong> grading <strong>47.36% Fe\u2082O\u2083, 6.73% TiO\u2082 and 0.353% V\u2082O\u2085<\/strong> in <strong>drill hole R-0061<\/strong> at the <strong>Radar Critical Minerals Project<\/strong> in Labrador.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\">If you compare this to <strong>Empire Metals (LSE: EEE)<\/strong>, at a <strong>market cap<\/strong> of <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>US$468.64 million<\/strong><\/span>, their 2025 Air Core drilling program had an average intercept of <strong>52.2 m per hole<\/strong> with an average weathered-interval grade of <strong>5.77% TiO\u2082<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\">In 2024, <strong>EEE<\/strong> had a couple of long drill holes comparable to what <strong>SAGA<\/strong> reported today, including <strong>154 m @ 6.76% TiO\u2082<\/strong> in drill hole <strong>RC24TOM022<\/strong>, <strong>150 m @ 6.44% TiO\u2082<\/strong> in drill hole <strong>RC24TOM021<\/strong>, and <strong>148 m @ 6.49% TiO\u2082<\/strong> in drill hole <strong>RC24COS019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\">When you consider that <strong>vanadium<\/strong> is <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>at least 6x more valuable<\/strong><\/span> than <strong>titanium<\/strong>, and the iron adds to the overall value of the project, <strong>SAGA&#39;s drill hole R-0061<\/strong> is better than the best reported <strong>EEE drill holes<\/strong> from 2024.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\">The bottom line is <strong>SAGA&#39;s market cap<\/strong> here at <strong>$0.49 per share<\/strong> is only <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>US$37.27 million<\/strong><\/span>, which is absolute insanity considering <strong>EEE<\/strong> is worth <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>US$468.64 million<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\"><strong>SAGA<\/strong> also just announced this morning that they completed a <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">first-pass<\/span> drill hole<\/strong> at an <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>entirely new<\/strong><\/span>, previously <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>undrilled<\/strong><\/span> area called <strong>Trapper Grace<\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">intercepted<\/span> 98.9 m @ 28.51% Fe\u2082O\u2083, 4.01% TiO\u2082 and 0.157% V\u2082O\u2085<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\"><strong>SAGA&#39;s maiden MRE drilling<\/strong> is basically complete. <strong>SAGA<\/strong> is just one drill hole away from completing the planned MRE drill program. They added two holes, <strong>R-0091<\/strong> and <strong>R-0092<\/strong>, specifically because the massive intercepts in <strong>Trapper North<\/strong> warranted more structural information for the resource model.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 14px;\">With <strong>REEMF<\/strong> now worth <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\"><strong>US$777.67 million<\/strong><\/span> and <strong>SAGA <span style=\"color:#27ae60;\">launching<\/span><\/strong> its <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">maiden<\/span> drill program<\/strong> right now at the <strong>Wolverine Heavy Rare Earth Project<\/strong> in Labrador, formerly owned by <strong>REEMF<\/strong>&#8230; <strong>SAGA<\/strong> is receiving <span style=\"color:#e74c3c;\"><strong>less than zero<\/strong><\/span> value for <strong>Wolverine<\/strong> when this could potentially be one of the <strong><span style=\"color:#2980b9;\">most important<\/span> North American Heavy Rare Earth Projects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin:0;\"><span style=\"font-size:8px; line-height:1.35;\"><em>Past performance is not an indicator of future returns.
