GameOn (CSE: GET) Making Big Moves in World of Sports, Video Games, NFTs

A few months ago we told you about the huge success that Dapper Labs achieved with NBA Top Shot, which quickly became the world's #1 most popular NFT platform.

Santiago Jaramillo former Head of Sports at Dapper Labs who prior to Dapper was Creative Director of FIFA at EA Sports, recently became the Chief Product Director of a new publicly traded company in the esports/NFT space called GameOn (CSE: GET).

A few days ago, GET signed a binding letter of intent to acquire real-time fantasy technology, FanClash, from London-based Inplay Labs. FanClash uses proprietary real-time fantasy technology to create innovative gameplay around live events. FanClash was created by the team behind the hit app UFL, which boasted 1.6 million users and 14 million gameplays while being featured as the no. 1 sports app in 24 countries.

GET will also acquire UFL’s technology as part of the deal, while bringing on InPlay Founder, Sohail Godall, as VP of Product and Head of Europe. GET will white label the real-time fantasy technology to broadcasters, TV networks, OTT platforms, leagues, tournaments, sportsbooks and NFT platforms to drive license and revenue share income. GET plans to leverage the technology not only for sports, but for other verticals like reality TV, news and elections.

Last month, GET launched free-to-play cricket prediction games ahead of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s T20 World Cup with Indian entertainment super app MX Player, and has since expanded the partnership with soccer, tennis and kabaddi.
