Copper Hits New All-Time High, Is Any Metal More Important for AI than Copper?

Copper just hit a new all-time high this morning of $6.8703 per pound.

Super Copper (CSE: CUPR) and GSP Resource (TSXV: GSPR) are two of the most tightly held, low-market-cap copper stocks with consistent insider buying. CUPR will have drilling results early next month, while GSPR could begin to release assay results any day now from eight drill holes at its two copper projects located directly adjacent to Highland Valley, Canada's #1 largest producing copper mine!

The only metal more important for AI than copper is dysprosium, a Rare Earth Element used to improve the heat resistance of high-performance magnets used in massive data centers, AI-powered robotics, and other advanced technologies.

NIA has the full database of every historical sample taken from the Wolverine Heavy Rare Earth Project of Saga Metals (TSXV: SAGA). From what we see, all 249 historical samples in the database that were taken across SAGA's 26 sq km REE Ash Flow footprint contain dysprosium.

SAGA appears to be focusing its maiden drill program on areas where some of the highest-grade historical samples of dysprosium were discovered. SAGA's first two diamond drill holes were just completed in close proximity to samples 114, 141, and 134.

Historical sample 114 contained 168.6 ppm Dy.

Historical sample 141 contained 334.2 ppm Dy.

Historical sample 134 contained 192.8 ppm Dy.

For comparison, US$4.5 billion market cap USA Rare Earth (USAR)'s Round Top Project has a historical REE resource estimate with an average Dy grade of 29.84 ppm, with dysprosium accounting for 46% of its rare earth value.
