WG Raising Upsized $12M for Expanded Drilling Adjacent to Fourmile, the Largest High-Grade Gold Discovery of the Century: Institutions and Insiders Investing Big
Westward Gold (CSE: WG) announced this evening that due to strong investor demand, it has upsized a non-brokered private placement financing to $12 million at a price of $0.25 per unit, and all shares and warrants issued in the financing will be subject to a hold period of four months and one day. This will allow WG to aggressively expand its ongoing drilling at Toiyabe Hills in Nevada, including at its SSD Zone, located directly adjacent to Fourmile, the #1 largest high-grade gold discovery of the century.
Two of WG’s largest strategic investors, Crescat Capital and Concept Capital Management, intend to make substantial additional investments in the company. Crescat intends to invest $1.8 million and Concept Capital intends to invest $1 million, for a combined $2.8 million investment. Crescat is already WG’s largest shareholder, and its planned $1.8 million investment would represent its third investment into Westward Gold.
In addition to the $2.8 million being invested by Crescat and Concept Capital, certain WG insiders also intend to invest their own money into the financing.
Each $0.25 unit will consist of one WG common share plus one-half of one warrant, with each full warrant exercisable at $0.40 per share for 24 months following closing.
WG recently drilled 12.0 metres grading 8.06 g/t gold within 27.0 metres grading 3.72 g/t gold in its first 2026 core hole T2601 at the SSD Zone.
WG followed this up by drilling 34.9 metres grading 2.91 g/t gold, including 4.1 metres grading 16.15 g/t gold in its second 2026 core hole T2602 at the SSD Zone.

WG’s first RC drill hole at the SSD Zone (T2603) was recently completed to a total depth of 396.2 metres, with assays pending.
Four deep RC holes are now planned to test down-dip extensions of gold mineralization in the hanging wall of Fault-N.
