Greenland Energy Soars 60% to $200M MC Despite Greenland Having No Crude Oil
Greenland Energy (GLND) is up by 60% today and its market cap just hit US$200 million despite having not yet discovered any crude oil. Dozens of companies have explored Greenland for crude oil over the years, yet Greenland has absolutely no reserves of crude oil. There is nothing about President Trump's Greenland Deal that makes it more likely that large reserves of crude oil will suddenly be discovered in Greenland for the first time in history.
The only undeveloped natural resource project in Greenland of global significance is Energy Transition Minerals (ASX: ETM)'s Kvanefjeld Project. Greenland knows it is their only significant project of any real value, which is why they passed uranium legislation to gain leverage over the U.S. and China, which both want to develop ETM's Kvanefjeld. It is no coincidence that President Xi, who is meeting with President Trump today, leaked out that his China Rare Earth Group is looking to acquire ETM shareholder Shenghe Resources on the same day President Trump leaked out details about his Greenland Deal. President Trump now has the power to push through Kvanefjeld's development for homeland security purposes.
The real new frontier for Natural Resources is Oregon not Greenland.
Homeland Nickel (TSXV: SHL) owns Cleopatra and Red Flat in Oregon with historical resources of 1.05 billion pounds of nickel, which gives SHL the largest undeveloped historical nickel resources in the continental United States.
Ameriwest Critical Metals (CSE: AWCM)'s Bornite Project in Oregon is one of the highest-grade undeveloped copper/gold/silver projects in the continental United States. AWCM is undiscovered with an insanely low market cap of approximately US$5.65 million.
For Rare Earth Elements, NIA's latest brand-new stock suggestion Volta Metals (CSE: VLTA) has significantly larger REE resources at its Springer REE Project in Ontario than Critical Metals (CRML) has at its Tanbreez REE Project in Greenland.
CRML is being valued at $1.2 billion partly because of its 12.5 sq km footprint and its potential for future resource expansion.
Saga Metals (TSXV: SAGA) at its newly acquired Wolverine Heavy Rare Earth Project in Labrador is part of the same exact Greenland REE Province and has a larger 26 sq km footprint with its maiden diamond drilling program taking place right now.
