Harry Dobson Becomes NPR Executive Chairman
Harry Dobson has just become Executive Chairman of our North Peak Resources (TSXV: NPR).
Harry Dobson is a prominent figure in the global mining industry, renowned for his expertise in financing and developing mining ventures.
In the 1980s, Dobson co-founded Yorkton Securities in Canada, transforming it into one of the country's leading investment banks. He later co-founded Kirkland Lake Gold Inc., which became one of the most profitable gold mining companies globally before its acquisition by Agnico Eagle Mines Limited for $11 billion. Dobson also played a significant role in the development of Rupert Resources, contributing to a major gold discovery at the Ikkari project in Finland.
Harry Dobson together with fellow billionaire entrepreneur racehorse owners John Magnier and JP McManus previously owned a large percentage of Manchester United football club before selling their shares in 2005 to the Glazer Family.
