SAGA Intersects 163 Meters of 6.19% TiO₂ and 0.293% V₂O₅ and 43.07% Fe₂O₃
SAGA Metals (TSXV: SAGA) just reported this morning that they intersected 163.0 m grading 43.07% Fe₂O₃, 6.19% TiO₂ and 0.293% V₂O₅, including 92.3 m grading 47.36% Fe₂O₃, 6.73% TiO₂ and 0.353% V₂O₅ in drill hole R-0061 at the Radar Critical Minerals Project in Labrador.
If you compare this to Empire Metals (LSE: EEE), at a market cap of US$468.64 million, their 2025 Air Core drilling program had an average intercept of 52.2 m per hole with an average weathered-interval grade of 5.77% TiO₂.
In 2024, EEE had a couple of long drill holes comparable to what SAGA reported today, including 154 m @ 6.76% TiO₂ in drill hole RC24TOM022, 150 m @ 6.44% TiO₂ in drill hole RC24TOM021, and 148 m @ 6.49% TiO₂ in drill hole RC24COS019.
When you consider that vanadium is at least 6x more valuable than titanium, and the iron adds to the overall value of the project, SAGA's drill hole R-0061 is better than the best reported EEE drill holes from 2024.
The bottom line is SAGA's market cap here at $0.49 per share is only US$37.27 million, which is absolute insanity considering EEE is worth US$468.64 million.
SAGA also just announced this morning that they completed a first-pass drill hole at an entirely new, previously undrilled area called Trapper Grace and intercepted 98.9 m @ 28.51% Fe₂O₃, 4.01% TiO₂ and 0.157% V₂O₅.
SAGA's maiden MRE drilling is basically complete. SAGA is just one drill hole away from completing the planned MRE drill program. They added two holes, R-0091 and R-0092, specifically because the massive intercepts in Trapper North warranted more structural information for the resource model.
With REEMF now worth US$777.67 million and SAGA launching its maiden drill program right now at the Wolverine Heavy Rare Earth Project in Labrador, formerly owned by REEMF… SAGA is receiving less than zero value for Wolverine when this could potentially be one of the most important North American Heavy Rare Earth Projects.
