QIMC Expands Temiscamingue Natural Hydrogen Corridor, Strengthening Its Geology-to-AI Off-Grid Energy Strategy

Montreal, Quebec–(Newsfile Corp. – December 18, 2025) – Québec Innovative Materials Corp. (OTCQB: QIMCF) (FSE: 7FJ) (“QIMC” or the “Company”) reports new high-grade soil-gas hydrogen anomalies from four additional sampling lines completed west of its previously disclosed work within the Temiscamingue, Ontario natural hydrogen corridor.

The new data from the fall 2025 sampling campaign expands the defined footprint of the hydrogen system from 11 km to 15 km and further validates QIMC’s proprietary fault-controlled natural hydrogen exploration and development model. These results also support QIMC’s strategy of developing scalable, fault-controlled natural hydrogen systems capable of supporting future low-emission, off-grid energy applications.

Recent commercial developments in the natural hydrogen sector, including emerging hydrogen off-take frameworks tied to energy-intensive computing infrastructure, underscore growing demand for reliable off-grid low-emission hydrogen supply. These market signals reinforce the strategic value of district-scale hydrogen corridors capable of supporting future distributed energy applications.

Soil-Gas Survey Anomalies Confirm District-Scale Hydrogen System Expansion

A total of 647 soil-gas samples were collected across four new westward lines (L20W, L21W, L22W, and L24W). Results include a peak hydrogen concentration of 2,843 ppm on Line L24W, along with two newly defined hydrogen hotspot zones on Lines L20W and L21W.

Across Lines L20W and L21W alone, 247 samples returned hydrogen values up to 1,849 ppm, including 12 samples exceeding 1,000 ppm and 45 samples above 500 ppm, indicating a robust, laterally continuous hydrogen anomaly over multiple kilometres.

Gas composition analyses continue to confirm the presence of high-purity, abiotic natural hydrogen, with no hydrogen contaminants detected. These results are being integrated with QIMC’s structural, geochemical, and hydrogeological datasets to advance winter exploration planning and drill-target definition.

District-Scale Platform Supporting QIMC’s Geology-to-AI and Off-Grid Energy Strategy

QIMC notes the district-scale extent of the Temiscamingue natural hydrogen corridor is well suited to its integrated geology-to-AI and off-grid energy strategy. The demonstrated lateral continuity of hydrogen anomalies, repeatability of results, and structurally controlled system geometry provide a scalable geological framework conducive to long-term monitoring, data integration, and progressive optimization using advanced analytics.

In support of this approach, QIMC plans to establish a regional office on Temiskamingue First Nation territory.

Radon-Thoron Measurements and Ongoing Analysis

Radon and thoron measurements were collected across portions of the Temiscamingue project area during the 2025 field program to complement soil-gas hydrogen data by providing additional insight into subsurface permeability, structural pathways, and active degassing processes. Results are being analyzed and integrated with existing datasets and will be reported in a subsequent disclosure, subject to review and interpretation.

Community Collaboration and Indigenous Partnership

QIMC thanks the Témiscamingue First Nation and surrounding Ontario communities for continued collaboration and support. QIMC has formalized this relationship through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TFN, recognizing that the exploration area lies within TFN’s traditional hunting and cultural territories.

The MOU establishes a framework for cooperative exploration and future development, emphasizing respect for traditional knowledge, environmental stewardship, local employment opportunities, and shared economic benefits. QIMC states it remains committed to ensuring Indigenous and local communities are active partners in the advancement of natural hydrogen exploration.

Next Steps – Winter Exploration Program

  • Continued data collection from eight existing monitoring and measurement wells in the St-Bruno-de-Guigues area
  • High-resolution geophysical surveys to refine subsurface structural interpretation, complemented by radon-thoron measurements
