FY 2026 Defense Bill: Major Tailwinds for OSS and DroneShield
🛡️ FY 2026 Defense Bill: Major Tailwinds for OSS and DroneShield
The House just advanced an $831.5 billion FY 2026 defense spending bill—and One Stop Systems (OSS) stands to benefit from its sharp focus on AI, missile defense, and space.
✅ Why OSS Could Win Big
The bill allocates $13 billion toward missile defense and space programs, including the Golden Dome missile shield and Space Force infrastructure. OSS’s rugged edge-computing systems for AI/ML align perfectly with the Pentagon’s push for real-time sensor processing in harsh environments.
It also allocates $1.8 billion to replace America's Doomsday Plane. The new Survivable Airborne Operations Center will require hardened compute infrastructure for satellite and sensor integration—an ideal use case for OSS’s 3U SDS servers and 4UP PCIe systems.
It also allocates $3.2 billion for the F-47 and $500 million for the E-7 Wedgetail: Both depend on AI-powered sensor fusion, which OSS hardware supports.
It also allocates $122.5 million for U.S.-Israel cooperative development programs—with a portion to go towards Israel's newly formed AI and Autonomy Administration, which is likely to involve OSS.
The third line of the House's press release says, "Targeting resources for unmanned aerial systems, uncrewed maritime platforms, and land-based counter-unmanned aerial systems to advance capabilities and strengthen our national defense."
No dollar amounts are listed because these programs are highly classified… but they are referring to One Stop Systems (OSS)'s uncrewed maritime platforms and DroneShield (ASX: DRO)'s land-based counter-unmanned aerial systems.
DroneShield (ASX: DRO) gained by another 6.21% last night to a new 11-month high of $1.88 per share and is up by 840% since NIA's suggestion at $0.20 per share! Click here to see NIA's initial DRO suggestion alert!
