MGG = High-Grade Silver, HSLV = High-Grade Gold
Minaurum Gold (TSXV: MGG) = high-grade silver play.
Highlander Silver (TSX: HSLV) = high-grade gold play.
We know it is confusing, but it is true.
J David Lowell at one point owned 10%+ of MGG it was one of his favorite companies and he briefly optioned MGG’s non-core asset Santa Marta believing it had strong potential for a multi-million-tonne VMS system rich in copper, zinc, and gold. This was the final property he wanted to explore but never had a chance to (it is like an unopened pack of baseball cards that could contain Honus Wagner) because copper crashed and he had to focus on Warintza.
J David Lowell trained HSLV’s team when they were running Solaris Resources (TSX: SLS) and advancing his Warintza.
J David Lowell believed in MGG’s team including its Co-Founder and Chief Geologist Dr. Peter K.M. Megaw.
J David Lowell was right about him. Dr. Peter K.M. Megaw would later discover Juanicipio for MAG Silver (MAG), which is now Mexico’s #2 largest silver mine. MAG is being acquired for $2.1 billion for its 44% stake in Juanicipio.
MGG’s Alamos Silver Project is growing rapidly and already fully permitted for production.
