Even if Gold Crashes, Contango ORE (CTGO) Income to Increase
Contango ORE (CTGO) has about 70% of its production hedged at $2,025 per ounce and once they deliver another 43,000 ounces these hedges will come off and CTGO will sell all of its gold at the spot price. CTGO earned operating income of $23 million in 2Q 2025 selling its gold at an average realized price of $2,441 per oz so imagine how profitable it will be in the future once it sells all of its gold at the spot price of $3,643 per oz!
Gold can crash by 30% over the next year and CTGO’s future income would be likely to still rise when hedges come off.
