Gold Soaring This Morning: Huge Day Ahead

Gold is up by $58.12 this morning to $4,660.78 per oz.

Westward Gold (CSE: WG) will soon be releasing more drill and trenching results from its SSD Zone directly adjacent to Fourmile, the #1 largest high-grade gold discovery of the century, ahead of North American Barrick’s record-breaking IPO coming before year-end, with Fourmile to serve as its cornerstone asset.

Prior to NIA’s suggestion of WG, our most recent previous gold stock suggestion was Tiger Gold (TSXV: TIGR) on February 23rd at $0.69 per share, and it gained by 10.53% on Friday to $0.84 per share, where it currently has an insanely low market cap of US$64.10 million. TIGR is being valued at only US$30.82 per oz of gold resources. This does not include the historical resource at its Dos Quebradas deposit or the new Ceibal target, where TIGR’s latest drill hole CEDDH-014 intersected 78.63 m @ 0.8 g/t Au, thereby extending Ceibal by 192 metres to the northwest.

NIA’s latest brand-new gold stock suggestion, Xali Gold (TSXV: XGC), is basically a brand-new company because prior to XGC’s recent acquisition of Pico Machay from Pan American Silver (PAAS), it didn’t have any high-quality gold assets of value. Pico Machay has total historical resources of 710,000+ oz (historical M&I gold resources of 264,600 oz grading 0.78 g/t and historical inferred gold resources of 446,000 oz grading 0.58 g/t) to be confirmed in its upcoming drill program, which will allow XGC to publish its maiden gold resource estimate, followed by its first Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). XGC management believes it already has enough gold today to advance Pico Machay, with a goal of near-term production. It has strong support from the local community.
