NIA’s Brand-New Top 2 Picks for 2026
Saga Metals (TSXV: SAGA)
NIA's new #1 favorite overall stock suggestion for 2026, Saga Metals (TSXV: SAGA), has relaunched drilling at Trapper North by adding a second drill rig to its Radar Titanium Project in Labrador. Trapper North is where SAGA drilled its two highest-grade titanium intercepts last year.
Drill hole R-0009: 87.2 m grading 10.15% TiO₂ and 0.339% V₂O₅
Drill hole R-0008: 68.3 m grading 9.21% TiO₂ and 0.311% V₂O₅
After the results from those two holes were released on January 2, 2026, SAGA surged to a new all-time high of $0.98 per share on January 12, 2026.
SAGA is now drilling holes #63 and #64 at the Radar Titanium Project (one at Trapper North and one at Trapper South) while logging hole #62. The company also confirmed on Monday that it has intercepted oxide mineralization in all 61 of the 61 logged drill holes completed to date.
SAGA's latest completed drill hole, #61, intercepted 224.1 meters of total oxide mineralization: the longest oxide intercept reported by the company in 2026. This includes 93.5 meters of semi-massive oxide and 130.6 meters of rhythmic layering.
SAGA already has samples from holes R-0047 through R-0049 at the laboratory, with assay results expected shortly.

SAGA has also discovered a new "Trapper Transition" zone connecting the Trapper North and Trapper South mineralized zones. Drill holes #58, #59, and #60 were completed within this transition area. Impressively, hole #59 intersected 185.7 meters of total oxide mineralization, while hole #60 intersected 160.9 meters of total oxide mineralization.

Temas Resources (CSE: TMAS)
NIA announced on Monday that it is making Temas Resources (CSE: TMAS) its new #2 favorite overall stock suggestion for 2026.
Temas owns a 100% interest in the La Blache Project in Québec, which hosts an NI 43-101 compliant Inferred Mineral Resource of 208.5 million tonnes grading 16.7% TiO₂ equivalent.
Temas has been consistently intercepting gallium, scandium, and chromium within the massive oxide zones at La Blache.

In 2025, TMAS acquired 100% of ORF Technologies Inc., which owns a portfolio of patents covering its proprietary Regenerative Chloride Leach (RCL) technology.
Examples of the company's U.S. patents include:
US9732398B2 – Chloride Process for the Leaching of Gold
US10041141B2 – Process for the Separation of Iron in Extraction of Titanium in Mixed Chloride Media
US10053750B2 – Recovery of Nickel in Leaching of Laterite Ores
US10150686B2 – Removal of Arsenic from Contaminated Aqueous Solutions
The RCL technology originated from research conducted by Process Research ORTECH (PRO), an Ontario-based metallurgical research company with roots in the former Ontario Research Foundation. The technology was developed over more than 30 years, with over C$10 million invested in research and development, including support from government-funded programs, before the intellectual property was commercialized through ORF Technologies Inc., which Temas acquired in 2025.
