NIA’s BVSN Reports 290% Clearvale Growth

NIA’s latest stock suggestion BroadVision Inc. (BVSN) just held their year end results conference call and we can’t tell you how excited we are about everything we learned! There is way too much for us to cover in this alert, so we will have a much larger BVSN update this weekend. In this alert we will just go over what we can remember off the top of our heads. This weekend we will go through our notes and give a much more detailed and in-depth update.

NIA will not be announcing any new stock suggestions until after Facebook has its IPO. It will simply be impossible for us to uncover a bigger opportunity in today’s market than BVSN.

BVSN’s Clearvale Enterprise paid business users signed in 2011 increased 290% over 2010! In fact, BVSN signed more Clearvale Enterprise paid business users in the 4Q of 2011 than in all of 2010! These results are absolutely shocking and stunning!

BVSN’s revenues for 2011 came in higher than what we expected them to be. BVSN’s full year 2011 revenues were $17.554 million down from $21.817 million in 2010. Most of BVSN’s revenues are still coming from their old legacy products that they are shifting away from. We were expecting full year revenues to come in at only around $15 million, but being that they were $17.554 million we conservatively believe BVSN’s old products to now be worth about 1x sales or approximately $17 million. BVSN would have been profitable in 2011 if not for R&D spending on Clearvale. Therefore, it is possible their old product line is worth a lot more than 1x sales or $17 million, but we like to be as conservative as possible.

CNBC was apparently interested in featuring the company last week but BVSN was in a quiet period and was unable to respond to them the other day. However, the quiet period is now over and it is possible they will be able to appear soon on CNBC.

BVSN has launched a brand new Clearvale application for the iPad!

BVSN is currently working on a Clearvale application for Android with a targeted release date for the 2Q!

NIA’s President asked BVSN’s President about Clearvale Nexus, which we told you about last month. Apparently, Clearvale Nexus is a secret that we aren’t supposed to know about yet! Clearvale Nexus is a major internal project currently under development and BVSN has not yet officially announced it. We found out about it by watching a presentation that was displayed at an industry conference. Besides NIA members, only investors who attended this conference or saw the presentation know about Clearvale Nexus!

Clearvale Nexus is a huge new feature being developed that will allow Clearvale users to collaborate with each other on projects in a secure environment. Clearvale users will be able to access a directory of other Clearvale users and contact them about partnering up and working together. This is going to be a major industry changing feature that we believe will set BVSN apart from JIVE and lead to BVSN becoming the new leader in this space. Once BVSN launches Clearvale Nexus, they will have the only enterprise social platform in the world that will allow businesses to actually gain new business! Clearvale Nexus will give businesses a very important reason to choose Clearvale over JIVE!

When NIA’s President asked how BVSN’s Clearvale compares to JIVE, BVSN’s President called Clearvale better, cheaper, and newer. He said JIVE is the industry leader because they were first to market, but BVSN is watching their every move and implementing their own moves with the goal of eventually overtaking JIVE. BVSN’s extremely experienced management team continues to “execute execute execute” in order to build BVSN into the #1 leader in this industry!

BVSN confirmed what we told you that Softbank, a $30 billion Japanese company, is now reselling Clearvale through BVSN’s Clearvale Passport program!

BVSN said that a large French stamp company La Poste is having huge success with Clearvale. BVSN is now going to begin marketing Clearvale to other stamp companies telling them about the huge success of La Poste!

BVSN said their reason for offering a simplified Clearvale Express for free is they believe it could go viral with Clearvale Express users telling their friends and business associates about it. This will provide huge free marketing for BVSN. Once businesses fall in love with Clearvale Express, they will eventually outgrow it and need to upgrade to Clearvale Enterprise in order to gain more storage space and provide many additional features and functions.

BVSN’s latest cash position is $54.4 million. BVSN’s President made it clear that short-term financial results don’t mean a thing to them because they have plenty of cash to last for many years. BVSN doesn’t care about achieving small profitability in the short-term, they want to become a giant in this mega booming industry over the long-term! BVSN would be profitable if they weren’t investing so heavily into Clearvale! BVSN recognizes that they have an opportunity to become the leader of the biggest technology boom industry of the decade and therefore BVSN believes every penny they invest into Clearvale will be well worth it and will hopefully pay off big for BVSN shareholders over the long-term!

BVSN said that investors need to stay focused on the big picture and be patient. NIA has been saying the same exact thing. We have been telling you for the past month that BVSN will be extremely volatile and BVSN’s short-term volatility is just noise to us and means nothing. We believe investors who cashed out this past week will regret it big time soon. It will take time for BVSN’s Clearvale revenues to ramp up. We believe BVSN’s big move to the upside hasn’t even begun yet. Only right now for the first time is the investment community finally becoming educated about how this space will become the biggest technology boom of the decade and BVSN in our opinion is positioned to become the leader!

BVSN’s latest market cap at $22.03 is only $99.47 million. If you subtract BVSN’s latest cash position of $54.4 million you get an enterprise value of $45.07 million. If you value BVSN’s old products at $17 million, Clearvale is receiving an insanely low valuation right now of only $28.07 million!

Clearvale is better, cheaper, and newer than JIVE, but JIVE closed today with an enterprise value of $679.09 million. JIVE’s social networking platform is currently being valued 24.19 times higher than BVSN’s Clearvale!

BVSN is beginning to integrate Clearvale into their old legacy products in order to convince their customers using their older products to stay ahead of the curve by upgrading to Clearvale.

At BVSN’s high this week of $44.75 it was up 439% from our suggestion price last month of $8.31. Although BVSN made five small dips during its run from $8.31 to $24, after hitting $24 BVSN didn’t make any dips all the way up to $44.75. NIA was shocked and surprised by how far BVSN ran so soon. BVSN was overdue for a sharp correction simply because it ran too far too soon. NIA never would’ve expected in a million years for BVSN to hit $44.75 this month. We thought it would take until at least March or maybe until May.

Now that BVSN is down over 50% from the high we believe it is very close to finding a bottom and getting ready to bounce big. We believe BVSN’s real run will come this May when Facebook has its IPO. By then we believe everybody in the business world will fully recognize that enterprise social networking platforms for businesses is the new boom industry and BVSN is positioned to be the leader!

NIA slightly decreased its BVSN position by 28% during the past two days because we wanted to be able to add back to our position if BVSN dips below $20. In our opinion, BVSN could dip as low as $18.40 because there is a gap in BVSN’s chart between its high on January 13th of $18.40 and its low on January 17th (the next trading day) of $19.01. These gaps often tend to get filled in.

We are hoping and praying that BVSN dips to $18.40 so that we can once again accumulate dirt-cheap shares. We are confident that BVSN’s high this week of $44.75 won’t be its high for 2012. By May, we believe everybody on Wall Street will be talking about BVSN.

Disclaimer: NIA currently owns 135,000 shares of BVSN. NIA agreed to a 60-day holding period on its initial position of 122,000 shares starting from the date that NIA first suggested the company, but NIA intends to sell these 122,000 shares at some point in the future after the date of February 12th, 2012. NIA intends to sell its additional 13,000 shares of BVSN and can sell them at any time. NIA intends to accumulate more shares if BVSN dips to $18.40.
