Celtic’s Miracle Championship: The Most Dramatic Comeback in Modern Football History
Celtic plc (LSE: CCP) is the only stock left in today’s market that is 100% guaranteed to make massive gains in the months ahead! We expect Celtic to make a rally of 100%+ over the next 30-60 days as the FIFA World Cup takes place across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico from June 11th to July 19th in what is expected to be one of the biggest sporting events in world history. All Americans will be looking for European football clubs to invest in and for English-speaking regions there are only two publicly traded football clubs: Manchester United (MANU) and Celtic plc (LSE: CCP).
If you have trouble buying CCP on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM Market (which is open for trading from 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM ET for someone living in NYC), you can try Celtic’s U.S. OTC symbol CLTFF as a last resort. All we know for sure: Celtic is fundamentally the most undervalued stock trading on any stock exchange in any industry! It won’t make the returns we believe are possible for our top two ranked overall stock suggestions for 2026: Saga Metals (TSXV: SAGA) and Trio-Tech International (TRT), but Celtic is 100% guaranteed to rise big!
Earlier today, Celtic F.C. achieved a dramatic 3-1 comeback victory over Heart of Midlothian F.C. on the final day of the season, securing their fifth consecutive Scottish Premiership title and a record-breaking 56th top-flight championship, overtaking their rivals Rangers F.C. This specific triumph stands out as one of the most resilient in modern sports history.

NIA first suggested Celtic back on June 7, 2024, at £1.40 per share and shortly afterwards NIA sent out an alert entitled, ‘How Celtic Becomes $5 Billion Market Cap Company’ (click here to read). NIA discussed how Scottish football club Hearts had just “built a new hotel at their stadium sort of like our Canadian members have at the Skydome, only much nicer!” We highlighted how Hearts were a rising football club in Scotland versus Rangers going downhill fast.
For the last 40 years, Celtic and Rangers have dominated Scottish football… but that all changed in 2026! Up until early this month, Scotland was witnessing its most incredible, legitimate three-team title race in 41 years. Hearts, Rangers, and Celtic were neck-and-neck at the top of the Scottish Premiership standings, shredding the usual “two-horse race” script that had persisted for four decades. Hearts had 70 points, Rangers 69 points, and Celtic 67 points. After Hearts defeated Rangers 2-1 on May 4th, and Celtic defeated Rangers 3-1 on May 10th, it became a two-team race.
Hearts traveled to Celtic Park today needing only a draw to secure their first league title since 1960. Hearts had sat at the top of the table in first place for the last 226 days and as recently as one month ago had a 72% chance of winning the championship. Prior to today, Celtic had spent a grand total of just one day at the top of the table in first place this season.
In the first 42 minutes of today’s game, nobody scored a goal. Finally, in the 43rd minute, Hearts scored a goal making it look like the 41-year-old duopoly was finally dead! Just before the halftime whistle (45+4 minutes), Celtic was awarded a penalty and Arne Engels stepped up and slotted the ball in, leveling the score and calming the home crowd just before the break.
The second half was a nerve-wracking affair with both sides pressing. With less than four minutes of normal time remaining, the game was tied 1-1 and Hearts just needed to hold Celtic off to win the championship for the first time in 66 years. The dramatic breakthrough arrived in the 87th minute when Daizen Maeda tapped home from close range, causing the home crowd to erupt into what they thought was the championship-winning celebration.

A split second later, Celtic fans noticed the assistant referee’s raised flag for offside. The stadium underwent a horrific, mid-cheer deflation. Tens of thousands of fans went completely silent, holding their heads in disbelief as the reality of a lengthy, agonizing VAR review set in. What followed was a brutal, slow-motion psychological torture for both sides while officials analyzed the lines.
The stadium was a pressure cooker, with players from both teams surrounding the referee, pacing back and forth, and praying. The 2025-26 league title rested on that single moment of pure hysteria and agonizing tension. When the referee finally pointed to the center spot to signal a good goal, the emotional dam broke entirely. Celtic Park shook from absolute pandemonium, while Hearts players looked visibly floored and devastated, knowing their historic dream had just vanished in the check of a monitor.
Deep into stoppage time (90+8 minutes), Hearts goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow pushed upfield for a desperate late set-piece. If he helped Hearts score just one goal to secure a draw, Hearts would win the championship! Celtic intercepted, broke on the counter, and substitute Callum Osmand rolled the ball into an empty net to make it 3-1!

Celtic have achieved their biggest victory in franchise history and if they join the English Premier League in the future, they could become a $5 billion market cap company!
